For this years outdoor grow I'm setting up a structure around a greenhouse structure the green house is about 6x10 and we put some cheap clear-ish plastic on top and around.....my question is should I remove the plastic? is there a benefit to this plastic technique?

i had a 6x5 greenhouse one year. Thing got wayyyyyyyyyyy to hot. I would tear off the plastic and put a piece of concrete remesh on top for the plants to grow through.

I'm running a converted 'tin shed' about 4.5' X 6'. Made the roof so it opens/is hinged in the middle and will open about 5"s. It has air vents in the foundation for air movement when the wind blows, which is most of the time.

I've had to install a swamp cooler to help keep it cool, as well a helping raise the RH. Too dry here. My first run in it.

Just started hanging an awning cloth curtain, shortening the photo period......... More later.

I used Polycarbonate single wall panels for the roof, as it will Not be used in the winter here. Will go back to T5 flouros, inside, for the winter months.

Nice.. I hope for a nice harvest this year too.. my biggest problem and the reason for a green house is to keep thieves out.. haha the greenhouse structure wasn't big enough so I had to improvise and extend the fence.. I had too, the structure was about 6x9 I needed 12x14 hahaha. Why? because last year I got jacked I knew it was going to happen, there was no fence so at the time before the plants hit there prime I pollinated the girls with my og-chem daddy. next week morning they were gone HAHAHA!! so I collected what I could, found some branches, saved the seeds and had a good laugh.. So when this summer came around I tilled up the land again, a little water and out of nowhere there was about 60 sprouts.. I was not expecting this haha

Gotta love a 'volunteer' crop. I'm thinking.

Now if you just had 10 acres of that, we'd have to refer to you a real 'Dirt Farmer'...lol
