Been a lurker for what seems like forever, but finally in a position to get a cabinet started. I am going to begin in a 4'w x 4'd x 3.5'h cabinet, and would like to set up a vertical sog. Planning on 2-3 3" pvp pipe rings with sites every 2", slightly tilted for nft. will be using a somewhat strange mix of lighting, wanted to make a ring of vertical pl-l lights for the sog, then put a single dwc pot in the middle of them. along with putting a cfl in each corner I believe this should be enough lighting and help keep the heat down, but wanted to ask here first so you folks could tell me if i'm being a bit of an idiot. Here's a drawing of what i'm taking about.
potential problems: pl-l is ~2 feet tall, should I put cfls or something on top of the cabinet for aditional growth?
