$10k into $600 a month any ideas?

I have 10k in savings that needs to go out and get to work for me .

Do You Know any good investment that could yield $600 / month for a 10k investment ?

Some thoughts i had :
Starting a delivery service couple of vans and hire a few drivers
Buy a Trailer in a trailer park for 8-10k and rent it out for $600 but after lot fees i would only be yielding $350 /month .
Take $300 and go see a financial adviser And see what he says

Another thing i am curious about is when an investor says "If i make 10% on my money I'm Doing really well " . Does that mean 10% daily, monthly ,or yearly ???


On a 10k investment what's a good bench mark to achieve ? Is a $600 month return of profit a lot to ask for on a $10 000 investent ?

I could be quoting wrong, but from the way that I have understood it, the 10% thing basically means that If you are getting 10% of the value of your investment every time it pays out then you have found an investment that you should hold on to, not pour all your extra money in to, but hold on to it. Most investments will pay dividends quarterly, unless its something like rental properties, or craiglist/ebay selling.

the obvious answer to this question was already posted. Sealed 4 k room would yield 3 to 4 lbs per month, should be able to find your $600.00 in there somewhere.

Well my 4k medical production room cost me ( 4 xxxl reflectors 1200 , 4 horti eye
440 , 4 open ballast 900 and medium 200 , organics $100 , stink can
360 , votex fan 300 and can fan 280 ) under $4500 total

My veg room (600 digital complete 550 ) total

Well under 6k and it produced since February 4.5 lbs of medical grade organic bud .

Cost to run was 175 month in electric bill .

Yea seems like a great investment i could make a lot but im not interested in any chance of going to jail and losing my family ,losing the little freedoms i have left ,and starting over .

But yea its a great view from an investors perspective. Just not what im looking to get into . I want to find a sound investment with little to no risk .

I was thinking of putting so much of my cash into gold . I rememebr Peter Jennings doing a special on "pot of gold " with pot being worth $560 an oz and beign worth more then gold at the time in the early 90's

Oh how that table has swung . Gold 1400 oz pot $125 oz

I think a lot of this depends on whether you want your 10k to work for you (like you originally stated) or if you have the time, skills,and drive to use the 10k to make more money.

If the latter,you could always start a small business.
10k could get a simple landscape business rolling with a beater pickup,trailer, zero turn mower, push mower, and trimmer. If you did it right you would have enough left over to get bonded/insured and hire on a high school kid for the summer to work cheap.

Could do the same with painting.

Get a pool of investors to go in on a car wash with you or find financing to go it alone.

A duplex could be a winner. Rent both sections and profit off one and pay the mortgage and taxes with the other.

Buy a car, fix it up, resell, repeat.

Now could be a nice time, if you're in Canada, to buy snow machines,fix them up over the summer, and then resell them this fall.I doubt you'd make 7.2k off a 10k investment, but you might.

For anything outside real estate and illegal goods, $600/mo is going to be hard to clear unless you're supplying labor with a 10k investment.

Ive invented a lst tool that is easily mass producible and am just looking to shop this thing and get the ball rolling. It looks like rubberbands attached to paperclips but it is so much more... All we need is to get this in mass production!

Find a farmer, buy veggies at wholesale prices, invest in a veggy stand at a farmers market...locally it is 25bucks a day...

Make 300 a day shlopping veggies to stupid city people....start of day....compare prices...undercut everyone...sell out and and go home....Big signs (if allowed)...

Work weekends, make 2k a month...

Start herb seedlings in 4inch pots....sell for 2.50 a pop...lettus leaf basil is a huge hit...costs you mebbe 25 cents, less if buying you 4 inch pots by the case...
Rosemary roots easy...sell for more...good dose of veg and she will take off.

All you need is some ambition to make it work..

Oh and invest in a strawberry patch....transplant runners into 6 inch pots in spring...5 bucks a pop....I can do 200 easily from a smaller patch.
