Hi everybody

I'm at day 28 with Northern Light x Big Bud auto

Since a couple of days i've noticed a general decreasing of plant's healt (some leaf turning yellow and slowed down growth)

I've been wondering about overfert (wich was highly imprabable seen that i've use half dose fertilizer once a week), Nitrogen deficiency, pH and so on...

Yesterday I've finally been able to make a complete check up and found that:

Sorry for the quality of the pictures but that's the best i could do...

I tought it was White Fly am I right?

If so, i'm wondering what would be best betwin the classic Pyrethrum spray or Hydrogen Peroxide + dish soap as described here:

Any suggestion is Highly appreciated!

Thanks! :thank you:

i would recommend neem oil to spray the leaves then add to your water so the plant can take it up systemically so the bugs never come back...

btw they look like spider mites to me...

good luck...

I tought whiteflies because moving the plant for cleaning the leaves, some "little things" flew away from the plant.

Neem oil could resolve the problem by itself or should i need associate it with some short period treatment like "poisons" (i don't know the exact term in english sorry, i mean spray like Pyrethrum

okay if they fly then they are not SM...adding pyrethrum to neem oil is a good strategy to hit bugs with as the effectiveness is increased...but neem should be enough by it's self...

if they are fliers put some yellow sticky strips around to control their numbers and better identify the culprits.

I've started the treatment yesterday:

Just before dark i've sprayed with pyretrum on all the plant, carefully covering upper and lower side of the leaves. For better results i've shut down the internal ventilation for some houres (just extractor left on)

Today I've bought neem oil and sprayed it on the plant (1ml in 200ml water).

I'll reapply neem oil on friday (on leaves) and Pyretrum on Saturday. Is it correct?

Can I also start adding neem oil to irrigation right now or shoud i start when i stop sprayng it on the leaves?

Thanks

you can add neem to the irrigation whenever you like, just maintain it on a regular basis. when i couldn't get neem cake i was using it weekly and now that i have neem cake i add neem oil once every 2 weeks
