i did't no mush bout zeolite but read good stuff about it so i gave it a try...i added 1 kilo of zeloite to 50 liter of soilmix, i got a nice harvest tasty buds but the yeild was low...anyway...i was wondering how much zeolite can be add to a soil mix?

Thanks

Smells like you're ahead of your time. Just found out about this superrock. My 2 cents: Zeolite rules, if the soil (or your gut) sucks

I have been using zeolite for the past 2 runs and while I can not speak directly on its affects as I also added Carbonatite to my soil.

I topderssed with Carbonatite, Zeolite, kelp and alfalfa mulch when They went into the 15 gals. I mulched with canna leaves and compfrey regularly and a nice homemade wormcastings 4 weeks in. Now I am chopping and digging through the top of my soil and I notice about 4-6 inches down the soil I planted in became apparent. Above that was beautiful dark, crumble humus layer with zeolite dispersed through out made by the resident worm and microbe population.

Really really awesome.

I guess that was kinda a ramble, my point.

I am going to experiment with is as a aeration amendment. Its structure is super absorbent and adsorbent. With slow release K and and affinity for ammonium, I think it is a welcome addition to add structure and diverse CE sites.

I have been using it at about 1 TLBS per gal of soil and top dress as well. I also dust my worms with is as well. But i feel that can be upped.

My thought with the worms is to absorb some moisture and trap any ammonium released during decomp. so it can later be used by microbes and converted into a more beneficial form to the plant instead of being released into the atmosphere. Also as a sink of any other nutrient ion it wants to grab.

I notice the worms distribute it quite nicely.

I did a trial using 25% char, 25% zeolite and 50% lava rock and was pleased with the results. Soaked in fortified compost tea for 48 hours before draining excess liquid and planting my cut. I plan on doing this again.
