Went Barebulb Last Night - Cherry Pie Seeds

Number 2 and 1, the bud shot in post above is 3....

2 and 3 favorites thus far, they're the faster and biggest of the bunch. Something, however, tells me not to count 1 out yet even though is vegs slow as shit and barely stretched....

Moving right along... Will snap a couple shots at lights out (does the flash make hermies? Yikes! My take is that there's still light being emitted from the cooling hps bulb, so, no, I mean, not when limited in nature?)

Couple interesting shots though to start off the mornings update. Not really sure what week they're in, which is neat because all I have to do is go back in the thread to see when I flipped them. Also, these are from seed, thus, expecting a slightly longer than from clone run with same plants.

#2 and #3 are still my favorite plants, taller, bigger, faster in veg, but #3 was last to show and is still WAY behind #2 and #1.

#1 being the most indica pheno is short squat and is seeming to mount a somewhat late mini-stretch.

Both #1 and #2 have visible trichs forming, looking like an easy ten week set in my near future, but we shall see.

First pic is for perspective, think it was right after flip sometime....
Second pic is hps light pic from just now.
Pics 3,4,5 - CP1a, cp2a, cp3a.

Congrats on the gold mine... I've been running the pie for about a year
Now and have found if you wait for mostly amber the famous e pie flavor dissapered still get you high as fuck but not as pleasurable to smoke. If that makes any sence.. But yes the pie dose throw nanners
So u Gota keep ur eye peeled for them..
I'm running some seed I used that pie nut on a mr nice. And just starting to show flower all fem so far so that pie juice is very viable..
Do you know if it was DHN's cp? I got my cut from harbor side about a week before they got there notice..
And another side note keep the feeding just below the recommended schedule in veg and flower they will take all you wana throw at them..
Slight tip burn is all I have seen with them nothing serious tho..
Good luck with those and take cuts you won't wana loose this gem

Thanks mang!

This is actually MY Cp! Woot! It's all explained in this and one other thread which I think is in the Strains and Hybrids section.

Basically, simple story.

Went into The Green Door in SF one day, they have exceptional looking batch with high THC test numbers, looks phenomenal, smells phenomenal. I take a closer look, sure enough, mature, tiger stripe seed poking her head out of the bottom of a nug, deep in structure.

I buy an extra eighth and find three seeds between the three of them.

Keep buying eighths and quarters until I have something like 20 very nice looking beans.

I figure they're S1's, but in the Bay, you never know. Could be an og herm or name this cash cropped bay strain (really, they're all way better than anywhere on earth, so who cares what really happened, despite not being able to pin down lineage totally), but I've got about fifteen beans left. Two of the five popped were severally mutant, showing no serration on their leaves. Wish I would have kept them, but them's the breaks....

I'm planning to run all three pheno's again. The super-cropped cuts are starting to yellow off, bottom to top, which is a great sign!

That said, a few more pics to come shortly....

D.C.

In no particular order. Not sure, think I'm in week three or four?

I can certainly see that the plant receives more light. You, no one should need a light meter for that test, open your space and look right into the bulb sometime. Just not often.

Then, making sure the temps and airflow are superb, too. I've have a 3200 mixed bulb two tier set up that sucked only due to the guy who 'was helping,' pulling the crops, religisouly two weeks before harvest. Had something different in mind when the cool tube was purchased.

Let's just say it was more than one which was bought. It's sitting in my closet right this minute. I actually plan to try for the 1k switchable so I can actually see what veg is like with a proper spectrum.

Not saying this run is bad, just sorting my preferences and then going to continelly dial that tent in until I'm getting roughly 2 per light with one light.

Or stacked. I'll be at week four sometime later this week, this being seed, started in micicle grow 'potting soil' and vegged under a stand floro incanfescent bulb (13w?) for the first month of their lives, their medium contaners, clear snack bags :D

They wash away that MG crap and have basically been doing really well between 900-1200 ppm. I suspect, CO2, 1k switchable or staced 600's one hps one mj in my 5.5. sqaured spce will be about perfect. Just have to sort the co2 fed sytem and how to filter air....\

No worries, thans for the questions!

Sorry to have been laggin....

Vacation was utterly needed. Never realized I needed one that bad. Last four years have had me a stress ball.

Nice to have come out on the other side, having persevered through it all to have this with me....

That said, pics will go up regularly again. Here's a couple until next week. Things should be interesting from this point on. A lot of Cp and Og characteristics on all three pheno's with some showing stronger leanings towards the druban and purple side (#2 & #3)...

#3 is taking her time! But is starting to put some SERIOUSLY long pistils out, thick ones too! Visible crystals moving towards fan leaves.... :D
#2 is just as tall as #3, but is much faster and showing flower structure closer to #1, my decidedly most indica (with most og influence imho)....

Clones have roots on #2 and #1, none for #3, yet... They'll come....

With all that said, until my next update.

D.C.

p.s. - Have been running her around 4-5 ml micro per gal and 12 or so Bloom per gallon, added a 1/4 tsp to a small one gallon between the three feeding last night and will begin Kool Bloom powder into the regimen, and sugars too, from this point forward.

So, Flipped 03/21/13 -

Today - 04/28/013

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr~

lookin good dude.. cant wait to see harvests.
i finally got the new place in order.. and flipped to flower on the 23rd. so, 50-70 days till harvest cant wait.. and setting up flower room 2.. today .. hopefully get that into flower too . but this year i mite need to invest in a portable AC.. i just havent heard anyone say they are worht it. but i cant afford a mini split.. and everything . im not sure what to do . im trying to figure out the best way to setup my room now.. kuz i need to have the best harvest. and get another rental property.. to start another house grow.

Thanks man. Can't wait to see what the phenos look like myself.... Should be an interesting run. I've been waiting for more than a year to see if my hunch about these beans was/is right....

I'm starting to think the hunch WAS right after all...

That said, these were taken a few days ago... Will try to snap some more tonight, been hitting with around 4/11 micro/bloom and 1/4 tsp of powder kool bloom at around 5.8-5.9 PH which comes out to roughly 900 ppm....

Not looking too bad if I do say so myself....

A little too hot during lights on, but can't afford an ac right now, dialed the lights on time back by 30 minutes to combat the 4 degree rise in temps, seems to have worked, holding steady at a barely tolerable 76.5 right now...

Either need to add gas or get that ac cranking asap....

Peace - D.C.

Indeed. We shall see. Really looking forward to the second round with clones, not to mention smoking these while the whole place gets a little revamp...

Looking good D.C

ps love the tread title name makes me piss everytime i see update. Went barebulb last night! Lol

^ lol bro.... Hopefully you've got depends!

Got some black strap last night guys....

Feeding them the first solution with it this am.

#1 - My new honey. Vegs slow, barely strecthes, but puts out the nicest og grape funk in smell and seems to be the most og dom plant of the group.

#2 - Most crystals, least yeild, fast veg, minute yeild.... Pure grape.

#3 - Slowest flowering plant, took three weeks to show practically, Grape OG again. Starting to get her swell on to, might end up being the yeilder, but has a long way to come to catch #1....

3/6 next run are going to be #1, probably 2 #3's and one #2....

FInal results will dictate tent space next round.

Might go 1k hps/mh switchable next round, but have to make sure an AC +1k can be handled with electricity first.

Woot!

Thanks for the support guys!

awesome thread i had the chance to vape & smoke some cherry pie today
