African strains who has them?

guapas!
beautifull colors, always heard some good thing about delicatessen: very quick and so tasty sativas.
do you know if they are considered as good parents? (i think yes)

at Volga Budmen:
there isn't plenty of strain who has african in it.
it depends a lot of what you desire:
a manageable hybrid, a good line for crosses, a terrible african high, etc.

tropical seed has some pure ciskei and crosses (wich is really good and worked) and with congo pointe noire (very good high, but more difficult indoor)
ace have some fabulous hybrids with their congo and malawi line.
cannabiogen has the leshaze (i believe she's a nice producer).
delicatessen uses some congo too, the fast side, a little like bangi haze.
maybe you can still find some afropips seeds.

good luck.

Very happy to fine this thread. Have been looking for several days to pick up some Malawi Gold because of the reputation for being "psychedelic"
Just checked out ACE and think I will be ordering from them.
Thank you!

I think African strains will be the new "WAVE" in strain lore...the sativa qualities and soaring highs of Africa are the most interesting of all strains...

Zamaldelica is kind of an ace and cannabiogen collaboration in the sense that the meao thai came from CBG's breed stock

Very true indeed! This seedbank is so underground that I even forgot to mention it! Only a few places sell their seeds because they changed the name and distributors lately. They have a few interesting strains based on congolese and other africans, what's interesting is that all of them are very fast and clean high strong sativas with lot's of resin and nice colors and aromas. Nothing to envy other reputed traditional commercial sativas at all...

Queen Mother and Lilly are great and reputed strains in Spain, they have the looks, the high, the flavour... although I think they have new names since the seedbank has changed to Original Delicatessen. It's a shame that the owner doesn't care a lot about the seedbank getting known outside Spain. I'm going to share two gorgeous pictures of QM aka Reina Madre posted in a Spanish forum because they deserve to be seen. Notice the very special colours and structure from this strain.

I think there will definitely be a niche group of people that will grow to appreciate the African genetics as they become more available but I think the effects are bit too racy and clear headed for most commercial pot smokers tastes.

I personally prefer the clean, motivating effects of a good sativa but I notice that the recreational smokers all tend to like the knock out indicas and even a lot of my fellow medical mj patients seem to prefer the comma inducing strains usually due to their excellent pain killing properties.

Nice for CBG! Lilly is very famous around Spain because of her pineapple fruity smell and electric high! Enjoy them... :tiphat:

^ thanks. looks like zamal/congo//congo?

if so i'm interested!

zamal is considered by many to be african genetics. i've got a zamal leaning pheno out of reg. zamaldelica. ace malawi frosty pheno, angola red, ghana cbg.

the zamal and angola red both have very strong vigor. i've got a couple hybrid of zamal/ar's outdoors this year (lots of vigor!).

Beautiful Reina Madre flowers! I love to hear someone comment on the effect / high of Reine Madre. The limited images I've seen (from the web) of Reina Madre flowers are all stunning.
