This next one is a Lemon Skunk that has been under the HPS since it was rooted, and it has always had trouble dealing with the slightly warm temps in here... But lately it has really been surprising me! It has such a nice structure, and one hell of a calyx to leaf ratio... I think I just might end up keeping her around:

I took a pick off of one of the premature lemon skunks that I dont plan on keeping, just because it smelled awesome and was coated in cloudy trichs... and holy shit it rocked my brain! I mean, I'm not saying the high was comparable to finished bud, but for what I was expecting, it knocked my socks off. I think it is officially the most high I've ever gotten off of bud that is this premature.
It also tasted and smelled like lemon peels. Even after a quick dry in the microwave!

I just wanted to show pictures of the lemon skunk sativa pheno that I have flowering in here... She was never all that thrilled about the warmer temps in this tent, but she has really been a trooper! And she is very beautiful, so I will hold on to her and give her better conditions next time. Today is day 49 of 12/12 for her:

Point of No Return is on day 63 today... Just started flushing last night. But here are a couple of nugs I clipped today in order to test the high out. I'm still letting her go another week, but I wanted to experiment with an early pick, to see if it would be less sleepy.
Holy crap, man, this weed is sooooo much better than the first time... good lord, this shit is powerful!! Such an intense body buzz! I haven't had a potent body type high like this in a looooong time. I forgot what indicas felt like.
It's apparently a cross of Afghani x Mexican, and it feels heavily indica. It's totally one hit shit. This is early picked, too. But the trichs say she can go another week, and I need to flush her anyway.

Thanks man. So yeah, I smoked a little more last night before bed... a tiny little bowl between my wife and me... and then put on Monty Python's the Meaning of Life. I don't think either of us made it past the sex education scene before we were both zonked out, for the count. I woke up early this morning with the TV still on and the red Netflix screen staring me in the face, lol.
Such good strong weed! I now believe it will, in fact, be the insomnia medicine I was hoping for all along. I'm looking forward to finding out whether it will help my wife with menstrual cramps, too, since that is mentioned in mandala's description for this strain.

I had an interesting experience last night I figure I might as well recount here. Right after dinner I smoked a nice sized bowl (3-4 puffs) by myself of the above-pictured bud. Everything was great, and I was laying down on the couch, feeling heavier than I've felt in a VERY long time, lol... Anyway, I had to get up and use the bathroom, so I did. But once I got to the bathroom, I felt like I was about to faint... I started getting that white-out feeling, which, if anyone has ever fainted for any reason, you know what I'm talking about. So, I brace myself against the sink, and wait for that feeling to pass, only I realize it's not passing, and I started feeling very weak, so I figure I need to go lay down again, quick... but as I opened up the bathroom door, I had already begun fainting, and it was too late. I apparently grabbed hold of my wife's bathroom robe, which was hanging on the hook on the door, and broke the little hanging loop on it. I think it slowed my fall though, because I came to a few seconds later realizing I fell into the chair we have at the computer desk, which is right outside the bathroom. The whole thing was bizarre, and frankly, a bit unsettling. But after I came to and realized I had fainted, I was able to go lay down again and was alright.
The point of this story is... God-DAMN this is strong weed!!! I actually believe that what happened was I got up off the couch too fast, as that happens to everyone from time to time... but the weed just made it so that I didn't recover from it, the way that normally happens, where you can just wait for it to pass, and then go on with your business.

Very nice work hush. It is amazing how much different and better a clone can be. Its also good to know PNR can drop blood pressure like that too, are you on any meds for high blood pressure?
