Weird flower formations

Wonder if anyone can give me a little insight on what is going on here. After about 5 weeks of flower, little light green clusters starting to emerge on the buds. Any ideas? Look like small calyxs, just look kinda weird, like something is going on.

I think you are referring to the tiny little patch in the very center of the flower in the first pic? Then on the top-left area of the second pic, on the side of the top of the flower. Very hard to see, but I believe what you are referring to is the onset of foxtailing. Could be environmental, could be genetic.

Yeah, it's kinda hard to see, looks to me kinda like when seed bracts start to form. I've had it happen real late in flower, like after 9 weeks, but never like this. They are everywhere. I thought I would start seeing male bananas because that was my first reaction when these first appeared, but none so far. I'm starting to think that this is a reaction to stress. Soil got too hot I believe, and I'm not talking temps. I've got lots of salt build-up on the surface of the soil, also res temps have been too high I think, 82-86F. Could be nutrient lock-out, ph problems, I'm not sure, probably a combo of both. I think I just tried to push them too hard, built-up too much toxins in the soil. Another reason I'm going all organic after this run.

I just looked on a larger screen (laptop) as opposed to my smartphone I was looking from yesterday... Not seed bracts IMO. Foxtails coming on. Very likely stress induced from that cluster-fuck you have going on, from the sounds of it.

Going organic is a fabulous idea, just follow all of the amazing advice in the organic soil forum, and you will love it.

You may already know this, but aside from the suspected pH, salt-lock troubles, the warmer the water the less dissolved oxygen it contains, starving your root zone of o2.

If you don't want to go with a full on flush, I would just give them plain ph'd water and see how they respond. Good luck man!

That's my plan man, just plain water for the last 3 weeks. We'll see how they respond, but I think the damage has been done. Just was pricing some water chillers, your right about the o2, I'll be getting that dialed-in next time.

Well if its an 8 week strain, they surely are not in good shape for 5 weeks.... stalling out will of course hurt yield and final quality but I wouldn't say all is lost.... just won't be finishing in three weeks, if that is what you meant by saying last 3 weeks plain water.

You mentioned soil in your previous post, so by res you mean just a watering/holding res and not hydro correct? Maybe just locate the res in a separate, cooler room if possible? Or, get your room cooler? Buying a chiller just for a holding res would be a bummer IMO...
