Hey,

Bad smells usually mean bacteria, might have been in the pipes may be in the system, you should run some h202 + Cal Mag through your system to sterilize it.

Peace

The only issues i've had with the new formula is make sure your jugs or rez is almost completely full before adding in the V&B or the calcium in the mix falls out of suspension & gathers at the bottom . i found out the hard way !!! i mix in 5 gallon pails & then add it to my rez & was dumping the V&B in as soon as i started adding the water & it didn't mix right & i had a sandy calcium grit in the bottom of the rez .

add the V&B to a FULL bucket , jug or rez !!!

Well the system was cleaned out with physan 20, and all the pipes and the reservoir itself are brand new. Plus like I said it's a bulk reservoir, the water only goes out from it into the system through a float valve, nothing comes back.

I'll look into the h2o2 though. What's the purpose of the cal mag in that equation?

If your using plane RO water you have to replace the cal mag, they are essential minerals your plants will use while you are flushing with H2O2. You can do it with out it but from my experience it never hurt anything and the plants stressed out less.

The sulpher smell could be vaping out from the city source water, maybe you just haven't noticed it until you gather a large conainer and get a wif.

Put some RO water in a sealed jug and let it sit over night and then pop the lid if the smell is there it is in the tap water already.

Peace

anyone using the dirty formula? I used the ro formula to the halfway point this run and then switched to the dirty and my flowers are sweatier than a vagina in july.. I seriously want to lick them

How does the Ca & Mg percentage of the dirty formula stack up against the RO?

Holy shit. Sulfur smell could be from oil fracking

Net, are you saying your girls responded to a CaMg bump even though you use the RO formula?

yo Slowandjealous, don't be a hater bruh, I ain't growing to please ya, if you are feeling insecure tell someone who cares

no CaMG for me, Just straight dirty from like day 28, I'm in the 7th week right now, topped off with straight RO from like week 6 1/2sh, no idea on how much cal mag is in the dirty, same label just a dirty piggie next to the Veg+Bloom

Dude I was just asking you a question. Jealous? You would be jealous of me if you got my yields. Your buds are small bro, just wondering if the dirty formula is the culprit. Sounds like you are insecure, not me. Good luck

Slow,
I do agree with the small size but this stuff does produce nice quality. This is one of the reasons i moved away from V+B (everything seemed to stay a lot smaller than i was used to) and to Super Natural, still a powder but my flowers plump up a lot more with no extra additives. I see that some people have tried adding Hydroplex and other PK boosters but haven't seen a side by side comparison for differences with/without the additive.

I gotta say though Net, your boy produced a very easy to use product so props! just didn't work out for me especially when the last 5lb bucket wouldn't break down enough, even with warm water and the rez pump on a constant stir there would still be granules at the bottom of the rez. I loved the first bucket, don't know what happened with the second.
