Being that you live in an apartment with your family, I'd keep it small and just get a tent. If the wife does let you use the second bathroom, though, that would be better for sure!

Yeah your right. I'm hoping that she'll go for it. We never use it anyway. It would be so much better just on the power issue alone.

Power issue? You're still going to need the carbon scrubber and fan for sure...and you're going to need to seal the window and exhaust in there so the smell doesn't seep out.

the bathroom has an exaust fan that exausts 3 stories above the ground or higher. Yup power issue if i get a tent i gotta run power to it for the lights.
you think anyone would smell it exausting that high......it might even go to the roof of the bld.

lol yes, the smell is one of the #1 ways people get busted. You don't want a cop driving by and catching a whiff.

I'm legal, but still use a scrubber to keep the smell down because rippers are always an issue. You can always get a long extension to run the power to the tent.

If you're on a budget, pick up a cheap mylar one on eBay and patch it up if you notice any light leaks. If you want to spend more, I hear the Gorilla Tents are good.

Mylars nice but pricey ,white paint will do. If you got a window its great for an ac if you need it+ u need some kind of intake to pull fresh air in.I'm going threw all this now I had to shutdown the warehouse.Now in a 7x7 room in a basement, plumbing but no power or ventalation .gonna be building from scratch again ,lotta time and money .LOL but its all fun

For free mylar, start eating lots of Doritos and Lays.

If you're using a window air conditioner, you don't want it exhausting outside or it will carry the smell out there.

Airflow is definitely key.

7 x 7 would be a treat! I only use 3 x 3.

Heck of a setup!

Mine is 250W MH/400W HPS with lots of the new fangled LED grow lights (these things are unnervingly powerful), some CFLs and some UV. Organic soil. I figure I only need a little smoke (too much and I can't get my work done), so I might as well produce the best quality I can. Power is expensive here!

A 6K setup would probably produce enough smoke for the rest of my life! lol

its a long story but I hooked up with some peeps out west,I rented the place .in the middle of a warehouse growing op.absolutely no bullshit .multiple 30-50k grows mind blowing

When i rented it i was just set up for a 5x5 tent,lol.spent everything i had on litesfans you name it fully sealed co2 .
unecpectedly bought a house across the country and the wife says no 6k grows ,she dosnt even know about the 2k in about 40 sq ft , or the 30 seeds i popped
