Hi gents,

Sorry for the extended absence. I'm sorry to say that disaster has struck my humble grow yet again! Beginning to think I'm cursed.

I had a surprise visit from the cops about a week and a half ago. :yoinks: They knocked on my door at 9pm at night saying that someone had filed a "noise complaint" on my property. My wife and I were doing nothing but watching TV that night...

I tried to explain that it must have been a mistake but they said they needed to speak to my wife about the complaint anyway. When I closed the door and went back inside to call for her they tried to waltz right through the front door without permission. I basically had to force them back through the door as they were trying to come in!

It was totally suss as to why they were there. I haven't told anyone but you guys here about my operation, not even my closest friends. My only guess is that the neighbors might have smelled cheebs coming from my house at some point during the week and phoned it in. I guess I'll never know but I handled the situation as best I could. Have never had this happen before.

Anyway, they finished questioning us outside the front of the house about totally irrelevant shit and afterwards they stayed parked across the street in their squad car for like 30 mins, obviously running our vehicle plates. After that the wife and I decided it was probably best to shut up shop for the time being. We were worried that they might come back with a search warrant.

In the meantime, have given the girls to a friend to finish up the last 4 weeks. I'll try to start back up myself after a couple months when this has all blown over. Not sure the wife is too keen on that though.

I'll upload some pics of the girls below before I had to give them away. Any comments are appreciated.

It's best to be prudent - especially the way they tried to just show them selves in. Precarious situation with high risk - you did the right thing. Laying low for a while is your best bet. I'm sure you will get a sense of when it's Ok to proceed again.

Wow, I am sorry to hear this bro.

First things first, I say.

Take care and let us know when you are back on track.

That's blows! If it was a neighbor, then they must not like you enough that you should have an idea as to who it was.

My neighbor has called on me twice, but Im all legal and compliant, so...raspberries to the neighbor. 1 more time and I might just go after him for harassment.

Thanks Chloemobile and Javadog, your support means a lot. I guess over the next couple of months I will be lurking on the forums here until I can start back up again.

wildgrow, you're right mate. I have a hunch who the jabberer might be but it's always the one you least expect! I wish more than anything that I lived in a canna-friendly country like you.

Have some photos here from the night I had to give them away. I swear it was like giving up my children for adoption. Sorry for the hurried snaps.

Day 23 12/12 and trichomes are just visible. There were many more crystals than can be seen here in these pics

Ugh...yeah, they were lovely....

I wish that my average plant looked that good right now.
My soil change kicked my booty, with nute issues and a
massive gnat infestation.

"Go-Gnats" must have sounded like a Football cheer, or some such,
for all that it made them stop what they are doing.

I liked the G-G actually, as it is cedar oil and is non toxic...but my
problem seems to have grown beyond its abilities.

I ordered some nematodes, but figure that I had better wait a few
days, for the Go-Gnats to dissipate, before I use them.

I had better post this in my own thread. LOL.

Good luck bud. Post a link here if you start a new thread when you return.
