Another noob with a PC Case - My First Grow

I bet this never gets old.

What's up everyone – I've started the construction of my PC case and I thought now would be a good time to start a journal to track my progress and (most importantly) learn from the experiences from everyone here. So first and foremost, thank you to any comments that help me along.

I think I have a great case to start with and my fans are wired and working great. I used white foam board to line the interior and taped mylar on top of that. Once I have my lights I will see how the temps look. I'm a bit worried that it's too insulated.

I've lurked around many forums and there are tons of abandoned journals which I find annoying. I will do my best to keep this updated whether I succeed or fail.

Seeds for consideration:

I know of the debate between going with Autos vs Regular seeds. I'm leaning towards Autos simply for a higher success rate for my first grow. I'm trying to start off this hobby with success man! Here are two that I'm considering, any input would be great!

I plan on using CFLs but since lighting has not been purchased, I am truly a sponge for knowledge and taking all recommendations.

I like the idea of LEDs but they seem to be quite a costly option, unless I've been looking at the wrong solutions. CFLs are easy to acquire, I'm just trying to find a solution that maximizes the space within my case. I also have a space for a fan at the very top of my case which could be great for venting excess heat that I'd like to remain intact just incase I need it.

I just made a case using 2 10w 6400k L.E.D.'s from DX, for around $25 shipped. And that was overkill (I bought drivers and lenses I never used, Aswell as 5 of each of these items,s till in that $25 budget). Gonna use it for Mom's and Clones, but im sure it would be comparable to cfl. Will get a Log with pics up ASAP, these little suckers are bright and im only running the 2 at 14w and can hold my fingers mm's away, with just a little warmth.
