Always loved headband and tried them all and riserva has always turned out best and never a herm problem for me and I've done a lot of seed of it but now my favorite headband is emerald triangles blueberry headband .. Now I never tried cali connections headband just cause I won't waste my time on his stuff by ill shut up now about swerve lol but also always wanted to try SLH but have a good SSH so I may retire it and replace it with the lemon...
Well, after a running out of airline tubing and finding my marineland 600 serious pump wasn't enough I got more tubing and a 1200 pump that snapped right.in.yo.the old fittings of the 600. Fired it Up and BOOM top feed system for seven plants with GREAT flow. almost too good as it almost runs the Rez dry. Ill.fix that soon..here's some pics! Setting Up three air lines and awaiting another 80 gallon air pump.
PH is around 5.5-8, always a bitch to get consistency out of all this water in dif rez etc. PPM is 300 with just Dyna Grow Veg.
So.yes, its finally.happened and I'm.proud to say I built it all.
And we're just getting started
On a side note, whats the official 'name' of this kinda system? its a top feed, but does having airstones in the bucket make it a "top feed bubbleponics" system or something? i know its not new, just not often seen

lil quick video i made, pardon the constant buzzing, video cut off randomly as a ran out of memory. and the sour kush and sour D is still recovering from the spill they took when they all shared the 5 site bubbler. bouncing back nice, but a lil tired looking.

ah yes, the lightproofing.
almost forgot, wanted to make sure system had no leaks because my "lightproofign" is just double bagging black garbage bags over the buckets.
it isnt pretty, but its pretty effective. thanks for clearing up the name.
ahoy matey! Looks like the train is rollin! nice setup and keep up the dedication, the girls will love you for it. 
i think itll be after summer possibly. trying to fill that screen out to a T and have ALL "lolipopping" done before flower so ONLY energy is spent on flowering, not on recovering from choped branches.
i know ill chop some in flower no matter what, but i prefer everything to be as picture perfect as possible before that switch to 12/12.

Ok guys, looks like the sour Kush is suffering from over watering and is developing phantom white patches.

they are growing SUPER fast now
They royal queen sour diesel ive had to top 3 times now. once on the inital topping, and two-three more on the side branching that came out of that. For a freebie, this things flying on veg growth
the sour kush....eh...only one of them is growing fast and the other two are SUPER slow growers. The fast one is WAYY more stretchy then the others and im assuming thats the more diesel dominant plant and those two more bushy slow growers are the kush dom plants. But I have grown a freebie of this before from Herbies a few years ago and it was BOMB. i only had the slow growing pheno tho, shit knocked me and my freind out every time we smoked that.
Last but not least we have my ABSOLUTE favorite plant to grow, my 3 Super Lemon Haze seeds. They have exploded in growth. Ive topped all three and they responded wonderfully to it. I have 1 that def appears to be the stretchy sativa dom plant, another more bushy one that might be the indica dom pheno and one that seems to be this weird mix of the two.
Ive cut clones only off the mostly sativa dom one as its bottom growth was getting a lil long and since im SCROG i dont need it anyway. They're currently in rockwool under my little 5000k CFL while they devlop roots then its straight to another DWC setup like the one you all saw in my seedling stages. I use Schultz Take Root. Used it for years now. Simple lil container that costs me 6.00 at sears. and they overcharge on every dame thing
Also a lil pic of my setup for the air pumps and water lines. i use clear lines for water and dont get algea. I learned a capful of bleach into the rez goes a long way with killing alegea and not harming your plants. I seriously was all against the idea of using bleach at all, but i gave it a shot on a grow that was one of my first forays into hydro on my 2nd atempt and used it instead of peroxide....and had great results. but also i DO NOT DO IT MORE THEN ONCE EVERY TEN DAYS as to let the bleach dilute.
The 12 Bulb 648w T5 setup i have works GREAT for this scrog method. running on 20/4 for veg and plants root systems are looking great compared to my old 24 veg cycle ways. Plants are nice and lush green. Ph is around 6.2-3 now. 600ppms. Gotta do a nute/water change soon.
how long until i should throw them into flower? thinking another month at least. i want a LB. I think my 1k can do it.

and last but not least i have just ONE sourkush plant thats doing well with growth. the other two...eh. most of these pics are of slh. enjoy!

yet another update. decided to trim them shortly after this pic was taken. also decided F*ck it, going to throw them into flower at the end of this week when my new digital timer arrives and hit them with that 1k bulb in flower.
all plants are growing vigoursly, as you can see, that HUGE plant whcih is a SLH plant is just surpassing them all with flying colors.
i luckily got 5 clones that rooted. all 3 slh phenos i have had one cut that survived, one of the sour d cuts made it and the sour kush cut made it. Im going to cut clones from the 2 sour kushes sooner then not as well as they appear to be the more kush dom strain.
Also, as if thats not enough, i got some OG Raskal White Fire OG seeds being popped and then i JUST ordered me some purple wreck seeds from Reserve privada.
Thinking of going from SCROG to SOG. Is it possible to combine the two?
