They let her go home yesterday late in the afternoon. I am sooooo excited to have her back home where I can get at her and take care of my girl. She is a small thing, just skin and bones but I love the dickens out of her. God knows I am far from being the perfect husband, but I just dig this chick. She has been my everything for so long and she is in better spirits today and doing better. Can there be any doubt left that the prayers and kind words and positive vibes sent out by THIS COMMUNITY made a big difference? No, there is no doubt about that. You people did this. Your devotion. Your understanding. Your help. Your energy.

I just can't find the words to express the gratitude I have for what all of you have done. Thank you so much!

Hello and I am bearing good news. Marilynn survived her first two rounds of chemo and the tumors are shrinking. Before the chemo they charted her liver function at a sky high 1400 (anything less than 300 is considered normal) as the tumors were really squeezing her liver. The last blood test (before the second round of chemo) showed a 200. This means the tumors are dying off!

Are we lucky or what?

I am taking good care of her. I have her eating again and now she is on her feet. She will be wiped out for the next two weeks due to the chemo, but she is looking at a strong possibility of a complete remission. I think she will be around for Christmas this year!

And I owe a lot of it to my friends right here. Thank you all for your kindness and support. It made a big difference. Big!
