Alterating nodes?

I like alterating nodes on plants. This is one reason I like clones, as they usually are alternating. I think plants get better light and more bud sites. My question is inquiring into your experiences with getting alternating nodes from seed. Do nodes atlernate when you prune and at what node from seed do you see alternating nodes or branches. One reason I don't like auto's is that they don't get to an age where the buds alternate. They grow symetrical and they don't alternate bracks.

It's not purely asthetic, I think they grow better alternating. So any advice on how to get alternating nodes from seed as early and on as much as the plant as possible, would be much appreciated.

Thanks

ya, know that. I was wondering if pruning can shorten the height in which such an event occurs. I also wonder if some strains alternate nodes from an earlir time. I wish cannabis could do that from seed. I like how it flowers that way. I don't recall at what node most plants start to alternate.

I doesn't start at a specific node. It's dependent on sexual maturity which is influenced by genetics and environment. So pruning will not help. In my experience pruning the main stalk before sexual maturation will often actually slow down sexual maturity. Earliest I can recall seeing alternating nodes on a seed plant must have been around 30 days after sprouting
