Depends on what kind of high you like.
I have 1 firm favourite and that's Zamaldelica from Ace seeds.....my pheno goes to 18 weeks for how I like it. But 6 tokes on a joint is all I need for about 4 hours. As it hits it just keeps sending you up, very trippy, auditory perceptions change and I just can't sit down, if I do my mind race's, so does my heart rate and anxiety/paranoia can become a reality. For a couple of hours you really are in an unmistakable altered state of mind. Then like another wave you find yourself feeling very happy, chatty and loving everything which is very enjoyable while still feeling nice and high, the heart is not pulsing along and eventually you feel like some more.
Also Kali Mist from serious seeds is another one I have. This pheno is great anytime of the day as I don't feel anxiety so much and the duration is about 2 hours. The high is kind and you do feel it in the body to. I feel like I'm nice and light and get this feeling that I'm walking on springs...if that makes sense, again you can get stuff done with this if you don't overdo it.
That's the 2 I have experience with at the moment.
Although over the 30 years I've been growing I have found many nice and terrorfying highs that I've enjoyed, African Sativa's are probably the best in my book, but everyone is different in what they like in strains that mainly effect the head with Sativa strains and hybrids.
But I can't stop smoking the Zamaldelica I grow and smoke, it really is........out there
I'm now looking into Trainwreck, another high I like and will be growing some from different breeders to find the nearest I can get to the arcata cut I used to grow in Cali.

subjective,, grow it and thee shall know it 
but it do see the attraction to the american "kushs" chems and diesel lines, casey jones and others for all day tasty, happy smoke..

personally I like hard hitting smoke I don't really know any strains that 'kick the shit out of u' as I have only just started growing and the bud around the streets in this area is barely (if) any better than cabbage tbh. its stinjy deals and poor quality which is why I started to grow my own. any recommendations of a short, stinky indica that will leave me breathless for hours yet easy to grow? thanks guys

Aroura indica from nirvana seeds...easy to grow. Stays short after a veg of 4 weeks. Flowers within 9 weeks. Knock you on your ass strain. Very cheap seeds for the quality. Long lasting stone with a knock out head feel too.
Or Ice from female seeds...easy to grow, feminized but will take stress/mistakes and still mature well with a good yield and strong as fuck. Good for beginners. That's both strains.

thanks skunkfunk ive always liked the look of ice from way bk in 2003 when I first seen it in a weed world magazine. such a unique looking lady and absolutely caked in sugar. I will look up on both strains and see which suits me best. cheers dude. peace out

ive heard some buzz names before but that's a first lol
it seems nirvana seeds are really underrated. it seem like everybody has great experiences with them but they are not overly spoken about.
I definitely wanna grow some of their strains..

i kind of misread the question sorry,, imvho the best crosses on the market for me are by cannabiogen and rare dankness.. between these two companies i think you get everything you could want in terms of highs specifically and also quality/vigour and potency delivered to you in seed form.. lots of genetics from around the world expertly selected and crossed in interesting ways but very different menus..
if i had to pick one, which i can't, i guess it would have to be the cross with triangle kush in by rare dankness that was tested as the most potent yet just recently, and since triangle kush won the cup this year...

Sour Diesel was one of the best things i've smoked, and also Green Crack.. incredible high, great taste and aroma
