Haha yeh, been a tad slack updating!
Everything is coming along very nicely, although bud growth is at a slow steady pace due to the Kali Mist being a full sativa, and the White Russian clones that I have are sativa leaning. Keep getting tempted to bump the feed concentration up, but they seem fine with 550ppm (.5 scale) which is very low in my books!
I skipped a watering yesterday, just to see how the girls would respond. Walked in this morning and all 6 girls had drunk their 4 gallon pots bone dry! So I won't be missing any more waterings lol, might step it up to 2x watering per day. I can tell the Kali Mist is ultra sensitive to high nutrient levels, already seeing some tip burn from my little dry spell.
It's tough taking a picture in the room, I have to squeeze right into the wall to be able to take a shot lol. The girls look really tiny in the pics taken from the room, so I dragged the closest Kali girl out for a cone and photo shoot again
I would have loved to get some better pics of the white russians, but they are too friggen wide to fit through a door way and I have to fight through the stretchy sativa jungle to get at them haha.
Plenty of trich's are popping up on the sugar leaves as of a few days ago, and the smell is getting really pungent, not exactly nice smelling though....Don't think I ever like the smell of flowering plants untill the last couple of weeks.
So now the plan is to very slowly cut back the nitrogen over the next 3 weeks, giving them extra magnesium sulfate as needed. I will flush with pure water for the last 10 days, and around 14 days before that I will stop feeding all traces of micro nutrients. I want the taste as pure as can be after smoking dirt tasting weed mostly for the past 3 months!
