Please help! first time growing.

There is no way those pots need water every 12hrs.
If you arent watering to runoff each time you will end up with a build up if the roots arent filling your pot.
Until the pot is nearly full with roots dont water until the pot starts to feel light.
I'd cut the additives.
Did you say you have 1000W 24" from these plants? Thats overkill and you should raise them

I don't know if I want to cut the aptus. What ppm would you recommend with heavy 16? In currently doing week 2 500ppm feedings.

Ive never used Aptus or Heavy.
Everything Ive read says full strength when they are under 1000W
I dont fuck around with additives though. It just complicates things

I should mention that full strength doesnt mean the labels recommended dose. Im going by Lucas and H3ad's recommendations. As soon as they go under 1000W they are getting full strength

Yeah but these are only 14 days old from seedling. They look a lot bigger for there age than anything els I've seen on here lol. I might try 600 ppm + aptus

Hey guys, new grower here growing in house and garden coco with heavy 16 veg a+b and full aptus line.

Strain ak48
15 days old from germination.
Planted in 100% house and garden coco.
Just upped feeding to 800ppm today.

I have a question, well a few actually.

First and formost, when do you think I should start super cropping?
Two, Im guessing ill start fiming when the side branches catch up to the main stem?
Three, the bottom 2 leafs above the cots are they considered a node when you decide when to start training? If so I was thinking about having atleast 4 main nodes then bam super crop, though im not sure if this is the correct course of action being a noob and all.

Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated, thank you.(im pretty active throughout the day on here)

mrdread100;580244)I havent flushed but I did not water for a day on purpose just to see the results. [/QUOTE said:
The sooner they get used to regular daily feeds the quicker they'll grow ......... switch to vertical lighting and run to waste, with 10% daily run off and they'll take off

Ph 6.2 all through the grow, is easier on the root zone

Transplanting them into big pots when they're that small is not productive and actually slows growth down IMHE

WELL THAT WAS A FUCKING WASTE OF TIME

Try backing the lights way back for a day. See if that helps them perk up.
I wouldnt cut any droopy plant. Wait for them to get healthy...
Be careful with a high EC and additives. Im not sure what all youre using, but if they help the plant uptake more nutes, it could be a problem.

18/6 would be better for seedlings and metal halide not HPS. You don't seem to have any drainage amendments, eg perlite, in your medium only coco?

Maybe you should grab a copy of the bible and save us all a lot of typing?

From what I understand Aptus Ecozen is a flush type rinse, I do it once a week. Suppose to flush salts + get rid of old dead growth etc. The guy at my local shop recommended I Run pure coco with no clay pellets(Orginally I wanted to do about 20% clay pellets but the hydrostore suggested I did not and run all coco)

The aptus does not really change the ppms much at all, about a 30 raise which I had perfected today 770 heavy 16 a+b and Aptus fasiliator/startboost and ecozen brought me to 800ppm. fasiliator helps uptake and stem growth supposedly..

I drain to waste every watering 10-20%, I skipped watering Friday to promote pot fill in which seems to be doing its job. From today on im going to feed at 800ppms everyday and maybe.. maybe bump it up gradually.

Sound good?

Looks like all those products are supposed to increase uptake.
It also looks like you have the claw going on in the pic of the other side of your plant.
I wouldnt use the additives with a higher EC.
Ecozen isnt a "flush" - its an enzyme that will also make more nutes available. Im not sure why they would have that on the schedule for new plants in new coco... Its supposed to break down old shit.
Id back the lights up and flush them. Then just go with base nutes until they look healthy enough to use boutique nutes on

Looks that way in the pic but Its not from what I can tell. This is week three today and first day I fed 800 ppm from 500. Ill check them when I get home from work tonight. Could. Be I just been under feeding them. Also took you're advice and raised light to 25" from top

You are hurting with kindness IMHO little plants like that only need low concentrations of feed. If it was me I would put them under fluorescent lighting if I didn't have metal halide.

They are plants not human babies don't fuck with them too much. Leave em be!

Fed plants at 700 ppm today and adjusted ph to 5.9. Fed to 20% run off plant one and two run off came out at 300-380 ppm which I believe tells me they can use more nutes?( if I'm teaching myself anything that means there using up more nutes than water which means I should be able to up nutes right?) plant 3 on other hand read at 740 ppm which means they are drinking more water than nutes?

Taking this info in is there a way to calculate how much more I nutes I could add or subtract in plant three's case?

Update! and supercrop advice please?

Anyways been feeding at 5.8ph, 700pm heavy 16 and aptus.
Did a light calmag spray last night at 6.0
I also Fimed node 2 both sides on plant 1 and 3, they seem to be taking it well and earlier today were reaching for the light with leafs streched out. I have been adjusting the light so its 25' away from the plants

All

Plant 1

Plant 2

Plant 3

I have a question that im in dire need of an answer.
When do you think I should begin supercropping these plants?
I fimed 1 and 3 last night at node 2 and so far so good, already see new growth where I fimed. I want to super crop, but theres barely not even inch inbetween nodes.. please help?

Hey guys just an update. Day 23, Did a 5 gallon flush three days ago to each pot at 350 ppm and 5.8ph ec/ppm readings now come out lower or at same ppm's. All three plants seem really healthy at this point

I have been mostly experimenting with my plants. I super cropped one and three once so far and in doing so created small splits in the stem(they are doing great now no problems at all there) I have also fimed them twice once on node 1 both sides and a couple days ago on node 2(they had new growth withen a day)

Plant 2 on the other hand, I super cropped twice(this one I did the best, no splits I believe I have a handling on it now) second super crop I did earlier today and I fimed node 2 both sides two days ago, withen a day this plant also showed new growth. Plant 2 is over all the healthiest I would say and can really really take a beating. It also seems to be more sativa sided as the leafs are not quite as wide as plant 1 and 3 are.

Anyways heres a few pics today of plant 2.

as you can see or as I feel plant 2 seems to be a huge cluster fuck of leafs lol. My instinct is telling me I should maybe do some lst and try to tie down some of the side branches and let them stretch out wider from bottom to closer to main stem top. Super cropping has had an over all positive effect, thicker stems.. side branches shot up where I want them to keep heading to have an over all same height canopy and hopefully huge yields.

Thanks for reading. Comments/suggestions?

Did you use aptus with the 350ppm? Id be careful with that stuff on small plants! Seems potent!

Yep, 350ppm with heavy16 veg a+b aptus Fasilator and startboost.
I'm going to continue feeding at 350 with the rest of my reservoir then slowly up it by 50 every other/three days(these plants have very obviously reached Real veg age)

Believe it or not, I truly think super cropping gave them new life lol. They respond well to it as well, Not even 2 to 3 hours after supercropping plant 2 the main stem was standing straight back up and pretty solid at that. The nodes Really took off and man those stems are just growing in size incredibly fast.
