Outdoor growing lat 57

I am starting all over this year. I moved this christmas and had to find a new spot to put the babies in to soil. I am totally new in this area and dont know it to well. So i had to find good place in short time. After some weeks of scouting i found two deasent places for this year.
This years batch is: 3 black cream auto, 2 auto Bomb, 1 auto NL x BB and 1 auto Think Different.
I usually go with the sweet seeds auto, have never gone wrong. But this year i will use sweet seeds, DP and WOS.
They are planted in premium soil, in 12liters Vaso pots (smart pots). I will not add any nutrient on the way, just some BioCanna bio boost the last weeks and some cannacure once a week to keep the bugs off.
Pictures later today.

Peace!

Hi!

I am late with update as usual. I visited area one, aka the main area, this morning. The babies are looking good, but they are not rockets in any way. But it is still May, and it is june and juli when every thing explodes up here in the north. The bigger one is a auto bomb and she is 16days old. The smaller ones are Think different, black cream and NL x BB, they are all 11days old. One auto bomb was culled at area two, aka the insurance area, yesterday. She will be replaced with one auto blueberry from G13 in a few days. I will update again on sunday.

Hi!

Here comes a new update. The youngsters looks pritty much just fine, but i have some problems with something that looks like rust. Some of the plants have small rust spots on the leafs. And the Think different is having bigger problems. I do nut know if this is some kind of pest, or if it is the CannaCure who burns them? I do not heve this problem when i have used leafcoat from biobizz in the past. And it is almost an indetical product with CannaCure.
Is there anyone who can tell me what the problem is all about?

Thank you.

The last years have been great to me. But i tend to use different genetics every year, instead of using the ones i do know is good. So every new year is a new "test grow"

I was visiting area 1 and 2 today. Everything is going just fine. But the Think Different was stepped down, maybe an elk? So she is gone. The auto bombs have started to flower. They are nice looking plants, but they look just like generation 1 autos. I will put some Dinafem autos in the ground in the end of this month for the two i have lost so far.

Peace

Ok, update from about 30min ago. The new pictures really show the differens between generation 1-3 autos. The Black Cream is gen 3 as always with new sweet seeds. More open growth structure, bigger leaves, looks more like normal (none rudalis) cannabis.
The Bomb from Greenhouse is gen 1. Small plants, alot of small leaves
The NLxBB is maybe generation 1-2. The growth structure is far away from ordinary cannabis, small leaves and small plant.

wicked wiklund ;) I grew Think different last season, only it was at 75 days with only preflowers, just a heads up in case you are hoping to harvest her around then...... although that plot was pretty unlucky for autos autoing, the year before i had a short rider (nirvana) that never flowered

here is a pic of the think different bud, cant remember how long it took but i have a diary on it, so can find out. i remember the bugs loved her very much, and im not surprised, she stunk lol

The Think different was killed as mentioned above. I have grown several autos over the years. Most of them have been really bad and not really true auto. But everything i have grown from gen 3 from Sweet seeds have been top notch. So i leave my hope to my three Black Cream this year, every other auto strain that will work out for me will be a bonus.

40-60g is pretty good in our conditions, looking forward for som more pics later on

I guess it is. But this year i have a little bit smaller pots. I usually grow 5 in 100lit soil. This year they are standing alone in 12lit pots. Maybe the plants will be a little bit smaller this year, but we will see.

I quick check today. The Black Cream is now showing sex. If everything go well the Black Cream and Bomb will be ready in about 6 weeks. Still waiting for the BB x NL to show preflowers.

I think your grow will be great. After tasting your last run i belive you really have stepped up a level and is about to master the skills of growning MJ :)

Hey Wiklund,

Glad to see you growing this North. The (semi)autos have really opened a door for Northern growers...

I haven't tried any of the ones you're trying this year, have heard good things about the Think Different, shame it's gone.

Did you find out what was causing the "rust"? It looks to me like a boring insect, but the pics where too small to really see.

Question: Why not plant them directly in the soil, rather than using pots? Their root system won't grow as much as a "normal" plant, but it will be better for evaporation, plus you don't have to worry about taking extra stuff there or it being too obvious for any passer by.

Just a thought.
