Howdy everyone. Here is how I do my water-only grow. I kind of ended up with this method by accident, just following random examples on the internets.
I started out with a 5 year old compost pile in my yard. I used that, along with "super soil" type ingredients to make my first batch of soil. I used aerated teas, compost teas, and stuff like that with it. It worked well.
I reused my soil by mixing it with 50% compost. After a couple of years the soil kept getting better and I noticed that teas weren't helping. So I went water-only.
Then I found a source of 20 year old wood chip compost that I could go collect for free. I started adding this to my home made compost. My shit really went crazy at this point. The plants got frostier and better looking. Stonier too.
I have a hose in my flower room. I go in every three days and water for 15 mins. Pretty easy.
Anyways, here's a video I made. I was really high, and it's my first video, but I wanted to show that one can do this for free and get good results.
