CFL or HPS for flowering

Hi I am new on this, and i am in week 6 of flowering.

I have a hard time keeping the tempreture down, in bhe bottom of my tent, it is 24 C and under the lamp it is 34 C

I have a 600 watt HPS installed in a cooltube, and a fan is also on

Would it be better to use 3 x 200 watt CFL 2700K, or hvat can I do?

How exactly is your air setup? Is it pulling air from inside the tent, blowing it through the cooltube and then exhausting outside of the tent?

Maybe try active intake as well. I find that having a fan blowing air in and then one sucking out helps a lot. Especially if you have the active in blowing into the bottom. It really helps push the hot air up and then the other one sucks it out.

Have an oscillating fan blowing over the canopy to try to mitigate the harm.

IMO: keeping a small osc.6" fan in there as ak says is great for mixing the temps up and allowing the stomata to open, ensure you take the temp at plant height, about 12"-18" from the bulb, I do 9 plants in 3 gallon pots to 3+ feet very well with my 600w, HPS, your plants really need that piercing red light even lower down unlike the cfl's that are ok for early veg, but suck at flower time,....stick to hps you have many options

My setup is from airfilter to fan to cooltube and out of the tent, and I am going to install a active intake today. The temp is taken 14" from the bulb, but I can see that if i lower the meter 10" down the temp also go down, so the active intake sounds good to mix the temps.

Thanks for your advice.
