LA Conf Under 305w LED

nice growing, DZLHIT. I have been running LA Confidential for a few years now. Although I have never found her yield to be lacking at all. She is one of my all time favorite smokes. My girl makes huge rock hard nuts. As for yield - I tend to get about 6 zips per plant, in 3 gallon bags, hand watered coco, given enough veg time. But i run her with a couple thousand watts of HPS. I also found that if i don't pound her with nutes, she does a bit better.

That is a bit surprising, to hear GMD. This cut, despite my efforts over the last few years...refuses to give up big yields.

I have flowered her in ffof, pure coir, hydro, and now this this (sunshine/HF), won't give up the goods man!

Potency is off the charts though.

You mentioned veg time, for me she veges really slow and takes a while to respond to toping/bending...maybe that i our difference, I should shoot for larger plants.

LED is def worth looking into more and more.

They are really dialing in the specs that are needed to
match some nice plant growth parameters.

Keep the show rolling :)

Awesome grow, wish i had the same luck with chinese panels, guess its all in luck and who you buy from....frostyyyyy ladies

Friend of mine, a good friend, has lets say a lot of corals under LED lighting. They recomended this company to me. I searched them out, had a 25 email conversation with one of their reps and did some digging.

Who you buy from makes all the difference.

Thanks for dropping in cococola36 :) I still have 4 more ladies to harvest soon, this weekend will be the normal 60 mark for them...I normally go 65 ish though so we will see if they finish early on me too.

LA Confidential

Here's some shots of the LA girls I have grown in the past. She is a beautiful strain.

once you get her environment dialed in she'l average 2 ounces per gallon of rootball.

these were done in coco, 3 gallon bags, AN hobbyist level nutes

I had 2 distinct phenos, one central cola, and one that was bushy

She seems to respond better to your approach, I will train her less next round and see how that goes. The first few times I ran her I was learning hydro, and she was stretchy...so I have been over compensating for that ever since.

Two of them were saved to reveg, just for kicks...likely not make the cut later when I need more space.

Wow those are some great par numbers, do you know what the angle of the led lenses are? I'm growing this strain under led too any tips on maximizing yield?

The lenses get more narrow as they progress out. The center is 90, mid ring is 60 and outer ring is 30...something to that effect.

As far as yield goes, that was my first harvest under the LED and my first time running this strain in that soil mix.

I have a 'current' thread where I took a lot more PAR readings around the tent, setting up a perpetual in this space. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=263500

Beautiful growing, can you share about how high you keep the lights above the plants? And how long did you veg??
