who else hates trimming

I hate trimming but I love setting up an efficient trim.
boxes for crap leaf, boxes for good leaf drying racks for buds
bar fridge stocked with red bull pop and water, pizza
2 times the amount of scissors for trimmers and cups of iso to soak them in. High res ip camera to watch over the doings.

dont waste the awesome rub with rubbing oil all over yerselves lol
During the time that I trim I generally touch at least 3 things I shouldn't (clothing, dusty surfaces, pets, etc), which in my eyes renders the hash unsmokeable (I'm a purist, no adulterants thanks) in my opinion. Rather than waste it entriely, I rub it into my hands, waste not, want not ;)

Man, you guys are bitter about processing the plants you grow?! Lol, I for one, love trimming; I'm not talking about doing small personal amounts, rather a few full days of work every month for a crew of a few people.
I enjoy the friendly company, the work and most importantly the ability to closely inspect pretty much every bud that I grew. Plus I think fan leaves are pretty...
To each there own I guess; If you love the reward, you better love to do all the unpleasant tasks that come with it.

PARADOX

here here Dr. lIke you put in all the time/effort/love into you're plants and you hate trimming buds? seems like a true paradox to me .. lol

There's no paradox involved when the job hurts your hands. I wake up with aching hands and fingers during trim sessions. Love growing--not fond of trimming.

I wear nitrile or whatever they are called gloves...I end up changing them every hour, but I still manage to get resin on me...my arms...chest etc. Not to mention those tiny cuts on the index fingers from the scissors as I get blurry eyed.lol

I Trim in the room that the bud was grown in. The smell of my meds (especially the sativa) gives my wife migraines, so I lock myself in whichever room I am cutting for 3 hours at a time. If I want to go upstairs I must decontaminate so to speak.

Tonite I chop the black domina....at least she is super easy...just knock off the fan leaves pretty much..lol

Since my rooms run at 78' I end up trimming in just a pair of shorts by the end.
Now if my wife was a pothead..I am sure it would work out in my favor...but since the smell gives her "headaches" I gotta scrub every drop of resin off..

WW on saturday...at least that is just the 1 plant under the 1khps...it isn't as easy to trim as the domina...but way way easier than the sativa.

Normally I would have stuck with a perpetual harvest, but wanted everything done so I can clean and turn one of the budrooms into a larger veg...

only 3 more 8x12's to build...

My wife gave me the open 1800ft2 basement to convert to my meds....I decided on 3 8x12's vs one 15x20

I currently have a 8x12 and 5x8 for bloom and a smaller veg room and cloning cabinet.

With licencing up in the air, I am using o2 obsorbers and taking the bud down to bone dry(8-9% in my books)before sealing for long term storage. After I found a old bag of outdoor in a jar in the basement...4yrs old and it still packed a punch..I would love to dry pack and heat treat the jars (canning) but I would hate to heat them up too much and ruin my bud.

I will be running 2k in sativa for the next run and then she is going to get taken out of the rotation. WW will be 2k and then probably see what all the hype is about when it comes to the "kush"... I have tried 3 kush crosses and none were any better or worse than what I am used to...

I HATE TRIMMING, but, I am wicked good, and fast, at it. I am always the fastest trimmer, no matter who I trim with. TOH, DESPISES trimming, and we used to pay our trimmers $20 an hour, all the smoke they could smoke, and food. I am a foodie, so when I say food, it was always excellent food, whether we grilled, cooked, crockpotted, or ordered it. Plus, I would always give edibles or budder to our trimmers, if they wanted them. We also bought a reclining theater style sectional, so our trimmers were comfortable. It was always a great time.....and our trimmers were very happy. They LOVED trimming, and were always bummed, when we didn't need them. HAPPY TRIMMERS=HAPPY HARVESTS!!!!!

Well all the sativa's are finally trimmed up including the fluff, domina just needs to get the lowers trimmed off tonite..

I let the fluff on the bottom of the plants usually sit and swell a bit before stripping it off for butter etc....I toss the pots in the corner, wait and do a rough trim and strip....this is for butter/bho...it gets quick dried outside as it isn't for smoking....no point curing it...just dry it out for cooking/extraction

So last night I started at 9pm...and was done by 11:30pm.. which is about as long as I can trim before I need a break.
Pulled another (guessing) 3oz dry for butter/bho makings.
And another 4zip off some bud tucked in the back of one of my larger sativa's. Funny I didnt see this on my initial trim...way more amber trich's than I like, but ZERO clear....hoping it actually puts me to sleep.

WW will be tomorrows evenings chore...trich's finally at where I want them....might even chop a bit tonite...definitely worth the extra few days I waited tho....wish I had actually fed her for an extra 4 days longer....live and learn I suppose. Only the 2nd time running her...Last crop was good...but needed a couple more days..

As for hiring trimmers....I pay well..$150 for a solid 4 hour shift, but you gotta keep the pace...no yammering for 20 minutes about how big the bud your holding is(just trim the f-ing thing), and all the scissor you can smoke...drinks..food...etc.

It's just hard to find people who don't want to turn a 4 hour trim job into 6...

I can't take my time..my neck just can't handle it..
