Yes, Microkote is an updated form of spinout that's not nearly as harsh, and contains beneficial micronutes. After tooling with microkote and Uncle Ben's 6 week recommendation, I think I'm going to keep the MC to one earlier transplant...probably the 6" or so pot the get right after small seedling cups. Transplanting later on in flower is a real PITA for several reasons. At the end of the day, MC is probably optional, but definitely works as advertised in my experience.

Yeah, I sometimes wonder where a lot of the old OG heads went/are. I reckon a fair number of them are still floating around under different handles, etc.

Thanks for all the info, been using PBP since day 1. My setup makes it sort of challenging to water until much runoff, so I've been having some build up issues and probably underfeeding overall too. Being able to read about what you other PBP users dose at really helps.

i use pb every watering start with 15 ml and work up to 25ml. then quit it and use ej bloom and meta k . works great

I feed each plant individually based off how it looks. I rarely burn plants with PBP but some strains can't handle it as well. What the bottle says is spot on 90% of the time. When I do run into problems, a good flush fixes everything.

Flowering: per gallon

2 tablespoons PBP bloom for soil
1 teaspoon Cal Mag
1 teaspoon Liquid Karma
1 teaspoon Hydroplex

-Funk[/quote2 tablespoons of bloom for soil?..6 teaspoons?..how long do you flush?...thats a lot of bloom.

I'm going to be trying to follow your schedule as close as I can but I have some less than healthy clones in rapid rooters that I have just been giving water and recently liquid karma (1.25ml/litre) for 2 and a half weeks now. I'm about to transplant them into promix hp-cc with added castings and perlite. All rooted pretty well but the clones look pretty bad, small with a lot of yellow and crispy leaves. Some have minimal green growth left, I believe this is because the clones were taken from underfed mothers and/or keeping the rooters too wet initially. When I transplant into 6" pots should I start the nute schedule immediately at transplant? or just start them with liquid karma and aquashield due to their condition? I really want to give them a proper start. I've worked with PBP line before but have never seemed to get it right, I'm hoping your schedule will be a good guideline to help me achieve this. Any help is much appreciated!

Use their Veg feed schedule, but start at 1/4 strength, then quickly start kicking it up. Increase strength in steps, and go up fast as long as you're not getting any burn. I think what you're not getting right is you're not using the products that have NPK, etc. in them. Karma is a great additive, but it supplements, compliments the rest of the nutrients. Good luck. -granger

Pure Blend Pro bloom for soil (1-4-5) is one of my favorites and has been for a long time.

Fredcobbs - That is an old recipe I used, and you're right it's a little much. My last run I did very well with this:

2 tablespoons PBP bloom for soil
1 teaspoon cal-mag every other watering

I found the plants did just fine with less, and had less issues from start to finish because of it.

wish I had read this thread few years ago... thanks to everyone contributing great info.

Has anyone any experience using Botanicare's dry ferts for MJ? Having to take time to mix could be well worth it if you can get as good results for a fraction of the cost.

F

Folate

I am using PBPGrow or PBPSoilBloom at 10ml/gallon with tap water. I add 2ml protek silica, and 1/4 tsp moist sea salt as well. This is with coco that has been pre-charged. No problems with health or yield.

Pure Blend Pro Mixes

Pure Blend Pro Mixes

Hello All !!:tiphat: Grodan Cubes 6"X6", and 8"X8" are first soaked in PH
5.2 RO water over night, then drained by stacking them on top of each other 6 cubes high, all the water drain's out, except the bottom cube, Take a fresh cube dry and set the last wet cube on top of it, the water will pass thru the dry cube, and drain the last wet cube.....
Also check that the PH is lower than 6.5 of the water flush runoff.
It takes 5 gal RO water for flushing 6~6"X6" cubes over night, after the cubes are drained, mix 3 1/2 gal RO water + Supernatural cube soak-(5-30-20) 3.5 tsp in a small cup to thoroughly mix together, then add to water, the EC level should be 1.2~1.4...Ph 5.4, soak the drained cubes in this condition mix overnight again,,also drain excess cube soak mix,and check the PH of the runoff it should be between 5.5~5.8 after the soak is done. Also put a nice baster's worth of Maxicrop liquid seaweed in and around the Grodan cube hole, where new cutting will be transplanted, this sets up their immune system from the start of their life....:) and keeps mold away......:dance013:
All above is done the first 2 weeks to a month of the new cuttings growth, then they are fed with Botanicare products......General Hydro PH up has potassium silicate in it,so there's enough silicon for your fert mixes...Rapid Rooters are Great! Soak them in Maxicrop Liquid seaweed only...this is good for new cuttings! Clonex + Great White powder is good for dipping
your fresh new cutting in, then place it in the rapid Rooter, You Will Have BIG Roots !!

i'm sure you produce some killer but that seems like a whole lot of shit just to grow somethin.lol

BudZad7 – That is a very long list of additives. Very interesting that you use both sweet and molasses, blastoff and big bud, and liquid karma and maxicrop. Don’t you think just one or the other of any of them will work? It just seems a bit over kill. For all the money you’re spending on them I hope you’re getting excellent yields and quality. If you’ve been using the same recipe for that long I would guess you must be.

Hey I saw the update and was wondering why you got rid of the Clearex? Is it just overkill because I see you're using the carboload stuff for flushing now?

I'm literally about to use your feed schedule and see how it goes. Only thing I couldn't find was Aquashield because the store I always go to said it was discontinued, I haven't checked online yet though but that will just have to wait.
