The friend who took some of powder and used his digital scale came up with this:

1 tsp. = 0.75 grams of powder

If that's correct here was what I came up with for making 5 gallons:

1 gram = 200 grams of extract

5 gallons of water would need 280 grams of extract

So 2 tsp. of powder would be 1.5 grams and that will give you 300 grams of extract

300 grams is close enough to 280 grams for this deal.

Are my weight numbers off? Did my friend make a mistake?

CC,

Okay, so we need a little over 50 grams of extract per gallon.

So dividing your recipe by a fifth, I would need 1/3 tsp. powder to get 50 grams of extract for my 1 gallon teas.

Thanks CC

You can get 4 corners worm castings in totes from concentrates. They arent the sifted fines these you can still find large worms in them, no debris just worms. 1 yard @ 160$ is a good deal IMO.

Good looking out Rancho! I'm on these threads a lot and somehow just started hearing about sprout teas. Thanks for concisely giving me a lot of the info that I've been searching for recently.

Thanks dude. 99% of the recipes are from the original ROLS thread...I just took notes man. Gas, Coot, MM etc., those are the guys that deserve the thanks.

ion i run a couple aquarium pumps into a manifold so they got to 1 hose and pump air through a little 'L' shaped piece of plastic pipe ~it bubbles and schlorps a little water through and gurgles into my 3 gallon bucket ~i wish i could quantify it and i do figure to upgrade it but it seems to be better than nothing

probably not much help/could usee a little scoping out through the microscope to be more certain

I have read the old ROlS thread in its entirety, and The New Improved thread in its entirety. Along with following half a dozen others. What you have done to consolidate all of the most important information is praise worthy. I am sorry to see that some one offended you in some way and you took down the first part of this thread. I am sure that I speak for other newbies who are trying to emulate what yourself, CC, Gascanastan, xmobtotx, Blue Jay Way and several others have accomplished. Know that all of your hard work and that of the others is not going unnoticed.

I have started a new soil mix with all I have learned from this and the others. Along the lines of what you all teach I am using local materials and building my own fabric pots (35 gallon) and dolly's to move them. All the teas and appropriate nutrients.

You are an inspiration to many, keep up all the good work.
