Lol its okay buddy - just give the guy a break :) Some newbs don't even know PH down is acid, probably don't have rubber gloves of any type to protect themselves also. He was just trying to help out, make fun of me :d im easy

Love you too, let the good times roll! :tiphat:

Interested in hearing the outcome of this being used.

I know ph down is acid, and don't use gloves to protect myself. Should i? man i would go through gloves like no tomorrow if i did. I get these holes in my t-shirts for no apparent reason that i attribute to ph down. That the likely scenario? Can't think of anything else it could be

Dude - totally wasn't talking about you. sorry if it seemed like it.

I recommend some type of hand protection when mixing nutrients and things of the sort. And yes ph down can burn through materials but then again maybe you have moths!!! :tiphat:

I've used pro tekt, pro silicate, rhino skin and Fasilator. I'm now using bloom silica and I'm loving it. I stumbled across it when the shop I go to ran out of Fasilator. I use it at 1 ml a gallon and I'm getting really good results.

Bloom silica is the best bang for the buck in liquid form, concentration is outrageous a little goes a long way... Be careful as previously mentioned it is very hazardous stuff and always mix in fresh water ( meaning no nutrients added ) then ph down to 7.0 and mix other nutrients as usually... Any other method of mixing this silica will cause oxidation in your nutrients...

Oxidation? Like what people call "fallout" or "dropout" when the water turns white/cloudy from mixing in a high alk solution?

Yes sir, same thing.. Mix will turn milky white and drops out any elements that lock out at high alk or above a ph of 9.0

This line is actually called "Yellow Bottle"

That bottle of silica is super spendy....

If this is your first rodeo stick with pro-tekt 'less you're rolling in dosh.
