Big Bang Micro Box

Hey MG, how are you doing? I was going for a half bottle sog but I have found some 1 gallon square pot and 8 of them will fit perfectly in the box so I bought those.. I hope to see something from you so you'll entertain me as I hope I'm doing with you..

Well, it exciting time in my little garden. First harvest is coming soon, and I'm planning a new grow! I also started my first thread on ICMAG: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=5788909&posted=1#post5788909. Check out my incredibly high-tech setup!

About the pots: It's great if you could find the perfect size. I recently bought a full set of pots (small, medium and large), and I can barely fit two large 6 L pots in my growbox. But, if I could find some better container, I think I could fit 2 x 9-10 L of soil in there. And bigger pot is almost always better. But it requires longer vegging, so it's again a compromise...

I've never understood the one seedling grow...but, I love the clean box setup. Really blends in nice in the corner! I can't want to see how she turns out!

That's really an amazing simple and HI-tech box, I think that you can also go with a one big rectangular rubbermaid that fits in your box as a big pot instead of looking for more..

Thanks for the compliments my friend, the one seedling grow is just a test to see the temps and as it passed I'm going to add other 4 plants hoping 2 males and 2 females to make just a little more weed and a few seeds for the next runs..

even if seeds are your purpose then 1 male will be more than enough! ;)

are you sure your box will accomodate 4 plants thogh? i am currently having space issues with 3.

maybe you want to show us a pic of the whole cab so that we can see how much space this one plant uses already?

props!

Thank you! It's not nearly as clean as yours, though! :)

Yes, a smaller Rubbermaid in a big one would work, I could probably grow 1 quite big plant that way. Or maybe I could just make some holes at the bottom of the big tub and use the whole space for soil...

Update

8 days from the last update and I have a lot of news
that I have almost forgot all of them :p
Just joking, the plant looks really good or at least I hope,
I have I think missed the FIM and I really don't know
how I did, I Super Cropped and I am defoliating the
bigger fan leaves, plus we have 2 regular Sour Cream (F2s)
from a friend that have germinated and their first day is today!

Wow, your plants look really indica-ish. I'm growing the same strain, hopefully they turn out as good as yours, good job!

Looks very nice, as always! But I'm a little surprised that you remove leaves so early, and from the top. Do you have good experience with that?

iska, i hear you with the fan leaves covering new shoots however i would refrain from removing them as they are primary source of energy for your plant. you can easily tuck them away with some wires (foliage LST), no need to cut them.

other than that i am most impressed with what you share with us.

stay relaxed, pal :smoke:

Hey Nkots, what's up my friend? Thanks for coming, commenting and for compliments.. I really appreciate that because it really helps to know that others are interested in this grow and not only me.. I know the photosynthesis history, the part of the energy source but I really have 6 big annoying fan leaves covering anything, I'm going to give the plant another month of vegetative so I'm not that worried about the stress, she's strong, she will recover in 2 weeks..
