This is my inspired by icmag contributors switch to vertical... much appreciation for all the work and sharing involved here.

4x600w in cooltubes, (not visible carbon filter, fans)

12 plants; (5) Liberty Haze(barneys), (3) Blue Cheese(barneys) & (4) Kosher Kush(reserva)... sourced with attitude :tiphat:

this is 4 weeks into flowering, they were vegged horizontal, 7 gal smart pots filled with amended soil(promix, ewc, alfalfa, kelp, added bennies, allowed to 'cook') with compost and various plant meal based teas throughout the cycle.

not familiar with any of these strains, so i was unsure how they would fill things out, not too bad, the blue cheese being shorter overall has been a benefit. 12 plants vegged this long makes things a bit cramped, but not unmanageable. the haze have filled/stretched the best of the 3 for this setup.

Those white lines look to be power wire not coolant tubes. Nice setup but your bulbs look to low and too high, wouldnt 2 bulbs at plant height be better than the 4?

air-cooled tubes, 12" fan pulling thru 2x6" tubes & filter, likely i will add another fan and separate the two, temps outside continue to rise(today being an exception), have a portable a/c unit that i will use as needed.

i really dug marlo's(i think?) yo-yo setup with his bare bulbs, think i might incorporate that into the next run.

i also pondered how well those 'chiller' setups would work in this configuration, but that seems to be making things more difficult than they need to be. multi light stacks would benefit if you didn't want to use a/c i suspect.

Oh. . Looked closer. . Stacked cool tubes. . Interesting ....

What are the temps like? Outside VS inside...

Have you tried bare bulbs with a small fan under the bulbs-exhaust above ?

lights out temps are in the high 60's to mid 70's in room(this is during day light)

lights on has ranged between mid 70's and high 80's. my hand is comfortable an inch or so from the glass and there's plenty of air flow.

rh has been a little high during lights out(70%), but only for a day after watering, otherwise well within the 40-60% range, i'll probably angle towards that low end in a couple weeks... i don't have total environmental control, but i keep a close eye on things, so nothing ever gets too out of hand.

i've actually added bare bulbs in the past(temp lights or added lumens) and with that yo-yo setup, i could double the floor plan and use the same hardware sans the tubes... this setup needs a few more tweaks, bare bulb is on the table.

btw, the floorspace is roughly 4'x8' and i'll see about posting some more pics later.
