I was thinking the same thing Alone!!!! It's Northern Lights from Dr. Atomic. Pretty damned impressive. Guess I'll have to haul out that pack in the fridge 'again' and keep hunting! Thanks for posting that Weedninja.

I would strongly advise against getting anything that's main selling point is yield.

AK47 isn't a bad choice...

Ive found that my largest yielders are the most bland in flavor and the smallest yielders are tasty and super frosty. LOL.
My niche in the MMJ scene is that I have the best flavor, smell, and potency and grow it right. Thats why I have patients. They want the best of the best. They dont care about size of nugz at all. They want the best! So I have to still hunt for that perfect genotype out there that will give my patients what they want and still make it worth my time as a small 2 lamp grower.
So far Mendo Purps has done it for me and my patients all-around....but that isnt stopping me from still looking.

Ive heard so much about Mendo Purps being great. How could I get the best representation of her in seed form seeing how I cant get cuts due to logistics. Any knowledge would be much appreciated.

I think yield can be even more tricky than just strain.

My sativa when jammed in at 25 to light running chemie drip tables putting in tiny clones is crap....but she crops ok...Now if you put 3 of them under the same light, give them a nice soiless mix and some nice organic tea and veg them out a bit longer they yield better, denser colas...Less fluff..more nugs.

Just an example..
Learn the strain...and then push it to its potential.. Had I ditched my sativa after trying "buddies" grow I woulda been kicking myself...instead I did it my way and she is pure gold.

My choice for comercial would be the White Widow I have now....Easy to trim, packs a really good punch and is done in 8.5wks flat...oh and with a bit of veg it is easy to hit the 2lb mark...not quite the sativa yield wise...but it would take 1/2 the time to trim..lol

I've run plenty of strains looking for that holy grail collection of desirable traits but for me the ideal strain is critical + from dinafem.

Which is odd because when I got a freebie pack I wasn't all that thrilled about it, and after sitting on the pack for a while I germinated them as an after-thought, fully expecting them to herm my whole garden.

Much to my surprise there was a pheno among the five plants that had everything: high yield, low calyx-to-leaf ratio, skunky smell, easy growing, DENSE buds, and a cool 9 week flowering time.

So needless to say I stocked up on a few more packs :D

Also, Wappa from Paradise seeds has always been nice. And cheap too.

Purple urkle- fantastic strain. smells and tastes great. dark color(purplish) Euphoric and happy...can either be used during day or at night(always test strains prior to using them for a sleep aid) great for pain management. Great White Shark-light color, hard hitting, floral smell and slight floral taste. Great for pain and sleep.
These two are my favorites. I have tried around 15 different strains, most kush; I feel that they don't compare to the GWS or PU. I will be using this for my medicine for a long time to come.

if commercial means a lot of grams(oz)/watt than i would go with chronic for indica and ******s jack for sativa. they both yield huge...

but if commercial means the most irrestible i would go with purple urkle (or one of its crosses) or one of the kushes.
