Lacking any credible evidence , the two grand for a biowave would be better spent on lights , which really would improve the yield.

Boy Harry - you have expensive tastes in equipment!!
It has long been thought that music or singing to plants increase their yields, so I'm open minded as to the efficiency of the unit you highlighted on Ebay Harry but at that price??
Foomar, a self-confessed 'Luddite' :) says you would be better investing your money in more lights, which would certainly increase your yields. However, most of us are constrained by our location/environment & adding more & more lights is just unrealistic. If your grow room has the maximum amount of lights for the available space & achievable cooling, then surely if you're pockets are deep enough it might be worth a punt!
My pockets aren't sadly but I would be fascinated to hear from anyone using sonic waves to increase yields.
Stay safe & happy growing :tiphat:

With most new techs it pays to be on the proven trailing edge rather than pay a hefty premium to be among the first adopters.

As far as growing is concerned , if its not quickly taken up by a cost driven glasshouse industry then there is usually a good reason.

Put a radio in there. Plants really like Metal, according to Mythbusters.

Watercooled AC is popular in Canada, and lots of boats have it. A boat unit could be made to work for a growroom.

The proven trailing edge is where I like to be when it comes to spending.

This water cooled a/c produces 1,000 gallons of warm water per day.
That's a lot down the drain. I'm on a septic tank so I couldn't stick it there. I'd have to make a soak away somehow and even then, 1,000 gallons is a lot to deal with.

Whoa Iffy, I'm not even thinking of one of these. Just putting it out there for dicussion:laughing:

@Harry Gypsna Do they respond better to Metal than, say, Isaac Hayes?
