Nice variety there. I only have around 10 jars maybe. Labeled with masking tape and marker.

What is the blue material on the lid?

"Blue" painters tape.

Your local home depot, or blowes will have it.

and the tape is easy to peel off.
i used to use white electrical tape to label jars.
but why mess around with leftover tape residue? eww!

Permanent marker on jar tops works great. Get a white eraser and it comes right off. No waste, or sticky shit....EVER!!!!!!
