Lights out tonight....4 weeks

I've been allowing her to drink as much as she wants, approximately 60 ml in a 24 hr period. Hand watered by letting a little run through the Yogi cup twice, sometimes three times a day.
It sits in a little saucer to catch the run off.
Feeding Canna Flora, with PK 13/14 at an EC of 1.5 and a Ph 5.8, She gets a little flush with fresh water about once a week.

Medium is a rock wool block in perlite, holds the moisture nice, and drains real well too.... I notice the roots show signs of too much water though, not as white as they could be....that's sitting around in a saucer for you, but, she's in a room with 3 k HPS overhead, so she'd dry out pretty quick without it!

I think if I was gonna do this on a regular basis....grow in yogi cups.... I'd rig up a system something like gm's.

things that make you question your sanity for $500 alex .....?:tiphat:

i like thinking my way around corners because there is always something to learn, but growing in 6 oz cups all the time is more like painting yourself into a corner IMHO.

go big !!!! ............. beer cups

I have several grower friends who insist on growing in huge pots, they will never learn.

I have been growing in 6" pots for 8 weeks from rooted clone for awhile now, and it blows their minds every time that I consistently get more bud per KW hr than they do.

I still like the "kiddie pool" idea, I'm gonna start drawin something up with that in mind. I knew a guy who used kiddie pools to float his plant in a lake like little islands. But imagine a kiddie pool filled with beer cups?

right now it cycles 7 times in 12 hours and runs 70-80 ml to each plant each cycle.

the timer lets you adjust the feeds REALLY easily. the only problem with it is that it does not have a clock on it so you can only guess at about when the last feed was or when the next one will be.
thx for making this clear

do i get it right though: is the timer part of the pump?
so despite the timer being precise (it turns on/off according to the set schedule), you never really know when the next/last watering was.

if the above summary is correct, then if you stayed and watched it for a longer time (and count minutes since the last cycle you observed) then you could tell exactly the next cycle start, right?

thx again gm and peace out to all of you, yogi challengers! :smoke:

The top will fill out. When it does, plant gets chop ,mostly cloudy, some amber, natch.

A closer look at a lower bud:

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to joe guy again

Damn glory she looks nice and perky super happy ladie rite there

Yup. Since switching to coco and MaxiBloom have yet to
experience the yellowing of my past organic grows.

I will get some yellowing, but the main advantage is
repeatable results time after time.

This Zamaldelica can go 130 days in my lo wattage
rig, but the smaller cup seems to shorten finishing
time somewhat.

Perky, yup.

here is a link to the timer, it is not part of the pump but it is very accurate ...... http://www.amazon.com/R-Supply-Inc-ART-DNe-Adjustable/dp/B00286QNDM

the photo sensor on the timer does not always register the same for some reason. it will start it's first cycle right when the light come on most of the time, but every now and then it takes a few minutes for it to figure out the lights are on ........ if you don't know exactly when it starts the first cycle it gets tough to guess exactly when it will turn on again.

BTW if you unplug the timer with the lights on it resets itself and will start with a new cycle after you plug it back in. you can get a handle on when it started that way a little easier than sitting and waiting for it to turn on

Green matter you are about to yield a nice quarter-half oz out of that yogi cup! Shit man this is like the new SOG, might be able to break some records with greenmatter's technique.

Greenmatter, you are killing it in those little yogi cups! I, on the other hand, have killed it too...literally.

This one never came back from the incident a couple Weeks ago. I've been so busy that I haven't taken it out even though I knew it was dead. It will have its proper Viking funeral tonight.

Here is my sad lot of neglected, mistreated, 1/3 dead yogis.

I just don't have the time to keep something this fragile alive. I don't feel I've done these poor girls justice. With my real-world work load, family, and everything that comes along with life, I can barely manage the gardens I have going. These tiny little rootballs that can completely dry out and be dead in a day in front of the 1000 Watts are not as easy to manage as I expected. props to those of you who keep them growing.

The dead one is pineapple express...my first clone, surely a freebie, sold to me for an embarrassing amount of money bc I wanted to grow pot so badly right away that I paid some asshole for some other asshole's unknown/relabeled mystery movie pot plant. Anyway, I'm kind of sentimental about her, being my first. She does smell good tastes good and yields well. I have better, but I can't let her go...yet. The real skinny one is sour jack. Its likely another freebie from attitude? as well as the OG13. I'm thinking they are freebies bc I have been told by a few that the freebies from them are better than the order paid for. Anyway the sour jack is like a shitty yielding sour diesel. This one will be getting let go. Out tastes and had the buzz similar to sour diesel, which I love, but I don't have room for a shitty yielder
