Potency and Concentration

I have had quite a few thoughts on these over the years. It has helped me to form some ideas I would like to share.

People seem on a quest for the strongest they can get. Easiest way to that, it would seem to me , is concentrates. What I have started to learn with a lot of concentrate use is, I never get couch lock from quality dry sieve or bubble. No matter the strain I get an up exhilarating high.

Now couchlock fans like to think it takes stronger weed to get them couchlock. My research leads me the other way. I never get couchlock from dry sieve or bubble, which would seem to me to be more potent than just bud.

Over the past months I have had the honor of beta testing the Sublimator vaporizor.. Again vaping to me is like using concentrates. You are just vaping the heads. Now that's concentration right? Well the Sublimator seem to more efficiently use the material than the others I have used. This unit literally gets me high school high again. It gives such a concentrated hit, you would think from the cloud in the bong that you were combusting concentrates, but you are vaping.

This is going to be a hard one for the oil folks, but imagine getting an oil intensity buzz from vaping weed. No more solvents to explode into flame, yet same buzz. No extra work, just putting the weed in the vape. Would folks really continue to inhale solvents?

Again this is about potency and concentration not an ad for the Sublimator, it has just helped me to refine my thoughts on this up high, verses couchlock comparison in cannabis strength.

Food for thought. Talk amongst yaselves. Peace GS

Yeah I have noticed that to it seems the CDB's are in the plant material causing the "couchlock" "stoned" effect.

Smoking the trichomes seems to cause the "high" effect which makes sense since it contains the THC.

You don't 'inhale solvents' with properly purged oil.
Ask somebody who knows, like Greywolf.
Just sayin', ya know?

have you ever smoked leaf? or unripe buds?

ever smoke tobacco?

i think there is a difference between an 'herb high' and 'weed high' that we all know a love.

ever have to 'clean up' mexibrick?

the journey down the rabbit whole of 'concentrating' the 'ratios of good stuff' started a couple thousand years ago.

kind of like the shape of wine glasses and what kind of beer should be drunk out of what their might be a similar rule to bong rips, joints, etc

you zero in on the time, temp, pressure, speed... you end up with a superior experience

Mr. Creosote, I would agree that Greywolf is not smoking solvents. Would you dare to compare him to the average oil smoker? Peace GS

What are CDBs? CBD does not cause cough lock. Now thc and myrcene, on the other hand....

I too try save concentrates for night. If I puff them during the day, I have to puff them the rest of the day, to keep the level. Peace GS
