New and need some help.

I'm 4 weeks into flower, running H3ad's formula in coco with well water. Seems like I'm having more and more trouble each grow. I can't seem to keep my plants green, or without some sort of deficiency.

Should I be adding something more than 6/9? I've read 6/12, but it looks like a nitrogen problem, as well as Mag. What do I doooooooo??? I look in my tent and see sadness. I made the biggest mistake in my growing experience by leaving lower branches on my plants, then cutting them off a month into flower. Now some of them look like death is coming. =(!

I need to replace my 1000w bulb. Does the aged bulb cause issues other than lack of lumens?

Thanks for any help given. Sorry for the rambling. I plan on starting a journal so I can get some help...shit is getting ridiculous.

1) do you test your ph?
2) bulbs fade... i do 3-4 grows per bulb
3) the infirmary might be a better place for help.

I would say your pH is way too low if you are using well water.

Tap water has pH buffers that prevent the pH from going too low, so you can add some
fertilizers and the pH will not swing as much to the low acidic levels.

You can get liquid silicon, which is very basic, and would raise the pH,
or you could get some pH up.

Coco fibers do have an issue with calcium and magnesium sometimes,
this is talked about at length in the coconut threads.

I just wrote this to help you, but it would be better to ask in the grower's forums.

:ying: kind regards from guineapig :ying:

Thank you all for the input. I'll post a journal soon enough. I lower my pH to 5.8 after pouring in nutes. I don't believe pH to be the issue, although I admit my meter may need some calibrating. Thanks again

thats why i like soil , easy sneezy , hope it works out . welcome to the boards !

Just to update, issues seem to be resolved. I raised my pH to 6.2 and to my surprise, things are looking much better. Green and healthy. There is one plant whose leaves have stayed completely wilted, but the buds are still forming. I think it's from cutting too many lower branches before flipping to 12/12. Thanks all for the welcome, and guidance.
