Can you get the seedlings closer to your light so they dont fall over like that?
You might even be able to put a little more coco in there to prop up the stems a bit, but they might need some kind of support.

its chillin with me. the hypocotyl can grow roots out of it and upon up potting those the stem will be buried and over time i'll have more roots.

appreciate the care

The Secret Life of Plants

The Secret Life of Plants

My life is horticulture - humanities future is plants.

The Secret Life of Plants - Hi-res

This is a higher resolution version of the classic and rare 1979 documentary.
Even on the lower levels of life, there is a profound consciousness or awareness that bonds all things together.
A fascinating account of the physical, emotional, and spiritual relations between plants and man." Essentially, the subject of the film is the idea that plants may be sentient, despite their lack of a nervous system and a brain. This sentience is observed primarily through changes in the plant's conductivity, as through a polygraph, as pioneered by Cleve Backster. The book also contains a summary of Goethe's theory of plant metamorphosis.

Scientists: Plants communicate with one another through ‘nanomechanical vibrations’

A study published Tuesday in the scientific journal BMC Ecology reveals that plants are able to communicate with each other even when light, scent and touch have been removed from the equation, leading scientists to speculate that there’s a wholly different mechanism they use to encourage each other’s growth.

Specifically, scientists suggested that plants might be communicating with “nanomechanical vibrations’ that travel underground as a “signaling mechanism,” letting other plants know their presence and to plan accordingly.

It’s long been known that planting basil near other species can tend to encourage its neighbor’s growth, and it’s not new that plants communicate with each other through shade, chemical smells, root structures and other forms of touch.

What scientists at the University of Western Australia were looking at specifically is if there’s any other ways that plants communicate, and what they found is astonishing. By planting chili pepper next to basil, then separating them from all known methods of plant interaction, the chili plant still grew as if it knew the basil was there.

“We have previously suggested that acoustic signals may offer such a mechanism for mediating plant-plant relationships,” they explained in their conclusion (PDF), “and proposed that such signals may be generated in plants by biochemical processes within the cell, where nanomechanical oscillations of various components in the cytoskeleton can produce a spectrum of vibrations.”

Their latest findings bolster that theory, they wrote, and could lead to a better understanding of how to encourage record food crop yields by studying these oscillations and how they are received and processed by other plants.

Slow n Steady we grow :)

Slow n Steady we grow :)

Smoking on some wifi - :bongsmi::greenstars: so ripped - good stuff.

Switching to 14/10 today and cutting the light to 50% power.

These fucking things are growing tooo fast. and I don't want to cut the table legs.

By the end of next week the sex should be showing and the seedlings / smaller plants - like the random will be in the veg tent.

Also will be ready to clone and should have everything in place for a simple - worry free - easy grow.

Thank you all for bearing with me during these dull moments but once both tables are fired up in flower mode - things are just improvements and organization.

Going to probably need a full tray of around 50 clones depending on how many girls I get.

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a 3' wide x 20" deep x 5' tall tent shelving.

Found some shit at IKEA - but was thinking a DIY or maybe the pet store has something - any how if some one would like to chime in about a good shelving source or build - I would appreciate the gesture.

I been slacking on the garden, work and this beautiful weather make me forget I have shit growing!

Maybe a second hand restaurant supply store might have that nice steel wire shelving. Or over the toilet shelving - its pretty similar.

How you been brother? Lets see some porn!

Been slacking too. Mainly due to smoking on my harvest, but also the weather even though its not really summer around here, yet. Just happy, that the long days and warm nights are back! Forgot to turn on fans and exhaust again today. That's twice in a week.

Your new garden looks great!! Looking forward to the show!

Cush OG x OG Kush - Green Crack OG

Cush OG x OG Kush - Green Crack OG

Super cropped most - pruned all. Super cropped as much as possible on the side branches as well.

Styling the plants so that I can literally cut them in half when I can start cloning and take the top and clone it with another nice big side branch and then growing a bush with tons of tops.

Doing this for all the plants since height is restricted.

Getting 100 bamboo sticks :D should be enough for say 12 girls depending how lucky i am on these seeds.

Last of the skinny chick i'll post - but that shit has me floored lol! I never made a hole in a plant and its just kickin it!

OG Kush

OG Kush

Womp womp womp...

fuck these plants.

If I get females - I'll train them quick/hard and clone then spray with dutch master reverse when flowered. These seeds are from self pollinated seeds from plants I grew from seed I got gifted. Confirmed OG Kush - but I didn't do it right first time around.

Was really stoked the most for these plants but compared to all others these things are pathetic.

I also discarded one - it was just too fucked up looking - not worth the space or food.

The trifoliate is doing the best.

The seedlings are doing good too - hungry i bet.

last pic the second tri foliate.

Night Terror OG

Night Terror OG

I say I like the blackwater the best and thats because of the way they look and smell - so far.

BUT!

I know that being a Rare Dankness strain and not some punk shit Swerve god knows what strain - this night terror og will be something special and ultimately better.

I have to say the vigor in these plants is amazing - very strong and very sturdy with excellent veg growth. They grow fast if you feed them alot. I cut hte light back to 50% and Only feed once a week and they still are the tallest/healthiest plants in the room.

Some Cush og's are right up there with them - but I think the blue dream in these is dominant as others are experiencing - hence the height/vigor.

They really enjoyed the prunning and I supercropped all 3.

One has a good bushy structure - but they would all fill a scrog up well.

So I definitely have something funky going on with all the plants.

I think its mold - but look at that part of the plant close up that to me look like hairs - but I know are not. One is lush green standing strong. The other looks like its been eaten by mold its all grey and small/weird. What else could cause this....

Lets see what these regular seeds become!

The Four Musketeers

The Four Musketeers

Random is happy and I like the structure - be it small - it might stretch out nice into a little bush - no clue wtf this thing is - but as long as it has some tittays its along for the ride ;)

Vintage 2006 is one fucking lazy bitch - if it were a kid in school - last to get picked in the gym class - fucking thing is much smaller than the other seedlings - all the seedlings I've popped this year.

Jack 33 is doing good - cmon fucker - grow faster!

the Yumbolt x vintage is doing the best - and its the biggest.

Can't wait for the CH9 girls to get bigger. By the time they are ready to flower - I will have one tray already a week or two into flowering or even longer, depending on how these 3 grow and what they turn into

I am starving all plants - seedlings included. I can not set up my veg tent for another week or two or do the upgrades that I have everything for. I consider one feed a week with waterings inbetween starving because these plants are root bound and can eat up loads of food and blast off. plus the light is at 50% so its all slowed down.

Wall mounted osc fan - 20x10" intake from a 3"x10" - two lights and more... like super cleaning on the way for upgrades.

Theres some electrical work to be done.
Steal mode is required and achievable as long as I don't upgrade/move on. So I am being patient and safe while some things are upgraded around here.

This will be the last hiccup.

It hurts - honestly - not being able to get a perpetual going now! lol

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR CALIFORNIANS:

California supreme court just passed something saying all cities and counties can bar collectives if they choose. LA is thinking of doing it - totally around 90% of clinics closed - thats a big deal. Weedmaps has shit about it now.

Lots of people out of medicine. This is a huge blow to the cannabis community as a whole - with california being the first state to allow medicinal cannabis - is now turning on what the people want.

Some here may be happy to hear the black market will grow but I am not. There are truly sick people who need medication - our favorite plant is not a grand scheme for money - it is a way of life and a powerful gift of health from mother earth. Forcing sick people to pay more for could be worse weed and do things that are "technically" illegal to the state is not okay with me. We are going backwards with this in-justification!

I plan on doing a lot of sharing this summer.

I am not sure - I have not looked into the matter.

But i would assume so. theres delivery service in every city even tho brick n mortar are not.

Its just terrible. And yes some collectives are rip offs - but thats the smokers fault - they need to be more educated and aware, which they are not - and that is the problem - no one truly cares - they just want to get high. :(

Thats good to hear brother. We love you so much homie!
I unleashed the Spinosad and Azamax on these thrip bastards!
They didnt give a shit about the organocide that was being used on the plants before they were put into my garage.
The clones even had a dose of azamax before they were cut from the mothers...
They musta been starving in the garage because they really did a number on my plants as soon as I put them in there!
Whats the systemic sns youre talking about? I have some sns203 here that is rosemary and clove.
I just found a free sample bottle of 244 I have for fungicide, but Ive never used it.
