lambsbread 3k indoor grow

hows it going everyone, new member to the forum here. I am an avid reader of the forum and have sourced some good info from icmag and I finally decided to join. currently im running lambs bread and have been running her the last year, got the cuts from chronically inclined of Mojave back when they were still open and was told it was true lambsbread and never had reason to believe otherwise. for soil this run I'm using ocean forest. half are in hf 5 gal dirt pots and the other half in just 5 gal homer buckets. 3k hps for veg and flower. previously I had been using ff base and bush doctor line and the open sessamie, beastie bloomz and the cha ching. I switched out the big bloom grow big and microbe brew with gh flora nova bloom and micro. I also am not going to use the cha ching as from experience I seen it increase the flowering time. I also got some flora nectar but I'm now skeptical cause I've read about artificial taste and the lambsbread is one the best tasting strains out there and I don't wanna alter that at all. currently I'm in week 5 of veg and I've topped once an super cropped about 3 times. the Lb doesn't respond well to topping a lot that's why I only do it once. I'll be flipping them in about 2 weeks. I will post pics very soon

I wish I could, and am interested in doing that I just don't have anywhere outdoor to make it happen. if your interested this thead may end up answering any questions or doubts anyone might have of the strain. its def one of a kind anyone ive given the buds to have sworn by it as well. it is definitely potent as well ive never had it tested yet but after this run I will be sending out flowers for thc testing

After looking around a lil and seeing other lambsbread threads I have reason to believe mine has been crossed to an indica at some point. Other jamaican lambsbread looks a lot more sativa dom but from what I understand lambsbread is not a cross of any known strains so its like its own original strain, so is it possible for there to be indica dom or sativa dom lambsbread? If that makes sense, im still learning haha

getting pretty damn hot out lately. decided to turn the lights off today for 24 hrs (to help trigger them into flowering) and then il start the 12/12. wanted to wait till the 20th but i think theyre big enough considering theyl double in size easily in the first two weeks of flower.

and yes ive topped all of these once and super cropped as needed to maintain these small bushy stuctures. Id say supercropping this plant is the best for it. It responds very quickly to it. Unlike topping where as it slows down the growth almost completely.

thanks vinny, when I came across it I actually had no idea what lambsbread was but I was looking for something new and the dispensary I got it from is known for his high quality strains. I got lucky. if your ever in the area I can point you in the direction. but I threw up another 1000 watter tonight just to be safe as these things are about to get spreadout so theyre not interfering with eachother.

I took out the tomato cages cause they piss me off. they are such a pita when moving them around or just rotating. im sure il regret this but il get some bamboo sticks, cause no matter how sturdy they seem around week 6 they'll start flopping all over the place. I would put up a trellis but I hand water and that net gets in the way.

temps were up to 100 mid day last week and it didn't hurt the plants at all they really seem to like temps in high 80s low 90. ive had them at 76-80 degrees before and they don't grow as fast and just seem to like higher temps. humidity 60 percent or so although they don't seem to show ny difference from being in around 40 percent. while they flower il try to not exceed 40 perc. good luck in the winter though lights off the room is around 50 degrees or so and with lights on, lucky to hit 75f. last winter it came out completely different than last summer, needles to say it doesn't like low temps.

for the veg I veg in 20 hours lights on 4 hours off. 18/6= not as fast, 24 hours on=slowest. ive ran all these schedules more than once and by far 20 on 4 off is the best.
and as for feeding they can handle a bit more than average but ive never owned a ppm meter so I cant verify this with actual figures but I hope to get one soon and this is in comparison to some other strains ive delt with. I also like to feed/water every other day, they can dry out ther 5 gal containers overnight sometimes. ive never grown them outdoor or in coco or in hydro just soil so far and foxfarm only. ocean forest. have tried hf/ff mix and just of and just of seems to just as weel and doesn't dry out as quick so I just use ocean forest.

just thought Id clarify that info for anyone interested.

Geat job. Sounds like you have found a winner to stick with and are getting things figured out with her. I see you picked it up from a dispensary. may I ask what state? I wonder if its the same cut running around Oregon?
