questions for Sam the skunkman

Hi after countless hours reading up on your original haze strain ive become a bit confused. I was wanting to purchase your strain from The Flying Dutchmen seed company as somebody said you sold them your original haze way back in the day but now The Flying Dutchmen has been taken over by Sensi? Does this mean they have changed the original genetics or what? Also with no disrespect why would the "haze bros" keep this strain to them selfs but then when they are out of the business and its just you left with original haze why do u release it to the public? wouldnt you keep an ultimate strain like that to yourself and release a lower class knock off to fool everyone? like if you had the best strain around for the time which was original haze you wouldnt want other people breeding and stuffing round with your genetics, you would want to be the only one with that strain? sorry just doesnt make sense to me. much appreciated cheers.

^are you from the USA?
Everyone who has smoked weed has smoked Sam's creations!(probly without knowing it)
My outlook is the polar opposite of yours and when I get a dank strain I pass it out everywhere. Hoarder's suck balls.
releasing a lower class hybrid to "fool everyone" is lame. kinda like passing fake clones as the real deal...shakes head.
it's not all about the $.

no im actually in the southern hemisphere. I wasnt intending it to be offensive was just a question, im more worried about the sensi company how it took over the flying dutchmen. No body no longer knows if its the original haze stock from sam anymore as sensi could of hybridized it with other genes.

Just get some of Sam's gear from S.B. Show us how you grow.

Here's one of mine, Thai Haze x Skunk, not for profit, natch.

SB is seed boutique

go buy Tom Hills Haze if you are worried about The Dutch.

it sounds like what makes sense to you is greed.

actually, i am pretty sure sam may be the only one that actually 'owns genetics' - that is, patented. other than that, its kind of hard to 'own a plant' that makes seeds and for which your cross originated from bag seeds that were purchased from imported bud.

No offense taken mate, thought you was trying to say something else.

too answer your Q, I'm with you on that, Sensi used to rule the seed world, in the late 90's up to 2000 and something. now they out source their breeding and have lost there quality standards.
(also after 2000 it became illegal for indoor seed production in the Netherlands) Sensi-seeds used to have massive breeding rooms, with some killer stock.

cheers for the tip on tom hills haze but heard some rumours about it having a bit of indica in it ? As for greed no way and dont be smart by saying you dont own a plant you knew what i meant.

^^Not sure exactly how they do it? I have heard that they out source their breeding.
(basically other people grow the stock for them) but I don't know if sensi keeps the motherplants and then give clones, (males and female) to their growers, or what ?

Nobody has really come up with any answers about the FD Haze since Sensi took over, still waiting...

Tom Hills Haze is fantastic, certainly 100% Sativa with zero Indica. It seems to be a lot quicker and way more yield than other pure Hazes, I put this down to Tom's selection work, but have not heard this from the horses mouth...

Hmm if that rumour is true you talk about I dont think i would trust sensi seeds anymore as putting trust in other growers to grow there stock would be kinda sketchy... example: could be stray pollen from there previous grows in the same growing room and introducing different genetics into the stock.. Would be worth looking into alot more! thanks

Very nice looking sativa you have there loving the thin leaves on it. When you say a lot quicker than most pure hazes how quick are we talking? 10 weeks?

More like 12, IMO .. But still way quicker and fatter than the original version and without Indica. I have not actually heard any explanation for this from Tom, so guessed it was selection.

For more, better info, check out Hazy Lady's threads and albums on Tom's Haze as well as some very good people who popped up in those threads and a couple of others.

but is it possible that in europe exept for seedsboutique .. is impossible to find seeds of Original Haze x Skunk #1 by Sam ???

PLEASE SAM if you will never read this post... you have to know that would be a pleasure for me smoke that weed
