A few years ago I purchased some seeds from Nirvana,Ice and AK48.I purchased regular seeds of the Ice and feminized AK.Well needless to say the Ice had a male in growing and before I seen it it pollinated the ak.
I really enjoyed the ice.I saved a bunch of the seeds that came in the bud.I am in the process of popping 3 of the seeds I have,I have more but am only doing 3 to make sure I get a female.What would it entail to breed out the ak and leave the ice?Is it even possible,I dont think so,the ak and ice have been cross bred so many times to make the final seed .
But I digress for lack of knowledge on the subject of breeding in and out characteristics.My knowledge is limited to mandell and his experiments on beans I think it was.Either way it should make f or fine smoke from the 2.I hope to get a ice dominant pheno from it,with the short flower time of the ak.

it's possible man, just not likely in just 3 seeds... but you could get an ice leaning pheno like you said but most likely not ice dominant...

good luck man, and if you don't find what you are looking for... just grow out more seeds...

how many do you have in total?

you would need a ice leaning female and male to breed the ak back out of it... but it may be hard to tell what pheno the male leans towards... best indicators are plant structure, leaf shape/formation, and smells off a stem rub...

I'm no breeder but i know some basics... Hopefully someone a little more experienced will chime in...

Yea I am of the same thought.I have maybe 50 seeds total,I liked the ak and the ice but the ice was my favorite.I dont think I have the room to do any big breeding,or anything of this magnitude.It was a nice thought tho.Thanks Sour for the confirmation I needed.

By the way, as far as I know, AK48 is Jock Horror x Ice. So you have effectively made a backcross - (Jock Horror x Ice) x Ice, which should be close to Ice.

Thanks Yoss33,I never looked at it like that.I may have a winner after all.
I have 3 seeds sprouting now they all cracked and will be in rockwool or soil tomorrow.
