Leaf question at 4 weeks Flower.

I have a LemonSkunk plant that is 4 weeks into flower and a Grand Daddy Purple at about 2 weeks into flower.

I am wondering why the leaves are curling and doing this.

I use lucas formula in 5 gallon buckets.

It could just be heat stress on those burning ones. But they are really soft and moveable. Not really burnt.

Another question was, when the calyxes are yellow. Does that mean she needs more N to fill in the calyxes? I don't want to overfeed. The plant is easily 7+ feet tall since she is trained and the tip is to the top of the tent.

Does she need more nutrients? Other parts of the plants are really green and the areas near the light are more yellow.

Does this mean that she isn't getting enough light in certain spots and the spots that are using more light (There's more trichome production too near the ones with light) are using more nutrients?

Like this. The leaves look fed but the leaves are curling under... Not enough light? Or what.

If its happening more the closer to the lights i'm thinking heat stress , but my other observation with the leaf claw would be to much N . they look sativa & they normally feed less than indicas do . so it might be a slight indication of both . to much food & to much heat near the tops . get a fan blowing across the top of the canopy & cut back a little on the feed strength .

thats just my opinion :)

Thank you. I think they might be over fed too. At least the lemon skunk.

Why would parts of the plant be yellowing? Is it even possible to get deficiencies in parts of the plant and not in the other? Should I foliage feed in that case? Or would it be they are just getting more light and using up the N faster.

woaaah..

your ph is probably a bit off, and that blackening stripe thru some leaves in nute burn. youre taking it a bit heavy on nutes, or you need to flush badly. you need to do a clean water flush for a day or two if its in hydroton or rock material. also check your ph and ease up on nutes.

the yellow calyxs are from heat or nute stress.

This.

The higher end of the pH range allows an excess uptake of nitrogen.
