Hey fellow ICmag members! It's Chewyy here with my first diary and first actual indoor grow.Since I finally have my medical card and am legal to grow now I decided to post my setup and log online for ya'll to comment and maybe help me out here and there :tiphat:

I plan on just fertilizing with the lucas method using flora nova suggested by Hereigrow.I have really hard water where I live so is it going to be a problem with salt building up on the roots?

Here is what the double stacker looks like in the closet lol .. it sure wasn't easy to rig that up in there!

I am currently in debate weather to have 2 plants in scrog or 4 ? or just do 10 plants in 1 gallon pots? But I think I am set on 2-4 plants in 5 gallons. :tumbleweed:

The thing is the 5 gallon pot I have are smart pots and they don't fit in there side by side , I have to offset them to fit right.I just want maximum yield.

I am alittle behind on posting so I will post the pics from last week as well.

Well sorry for the delay in update , been researching and contemplating alot of variables here lol .... I decided to move them back under the T5 light until they are alittle bit bigger, they just were not responding well under the 400w HPS bulb. That and I think I may have over-fertilized too early on , I used some of this Miracle grow organic choice that is a 8-0-0 and I made the mistake of foliar feeding them with it with the lights on >< , rookie mistake but at least I learned after reading about it later on.I also watered them with this mix once, then I started to notice bad effects so since then I have been using nothing but water and it seems to be doing better now.. Pretty sure I gave them a little bit too much Nitro , but let me know what you all think. Also I have noticed a whitening/yellowing on the outside of the leaves lately , was right after the nitro burn/bad foliar.I have been checking the PH with a soil meter you get from HD and it reads right on 7 after I water them (using sparklets drinking water for now till I get a PH meter and filter for my tap).Temps have been at 76-79F It rarely gets to 80F and if it does it will not last long.

Another thing the new growth that is in the middle of the plant have been growing rather awkward..

These pics were taken 5/9/2013 They are on day 11 Veg (I started counting the day I transplanted the clones.)

And for SCROG to I just let them grow natural till they hit the screen or should I start training them before that?

I would start doing some lst once they are healthy and growing, will help with getting more branches/nodes reaching the screen evenly.

Looks like a promising set up ;)

Well sorry guys for the lack of updating... I just felt like the things I was doing was not worth posting... Things have changed since then!!

I threw away the old ones you saw prolly a week after the pics were shot , and took new clones and have been babying them ever since! They have been vegging for about a month and a week or 2.I just flipped them to 12/12 on 7-5-13.

Since then I have changed my nutrients to General Organics GO box and it has been working fantastic , no nutrient burns ever and the plants react to it very well.I really like the fact I don't have to worry about checking the nutrient solution PH.

Here's the video I made for more detail.
[YOUTUBEIF]http://youtu.be/JXZAmojjhDs[/YOUTUBEIF]

i cant believe this thread has 230 views and 13 replies...SO MANY LURKERS that just want to see buds and then they may come in and say something 1/2 way through flowering. LAME.

nice looking SCROG! im subbed.

Great comeback! I don't really give a crap about bud shots. I'd rather hear about good techniques and see a room build out thread.
You are doing well bro :)

Thanks for the reply and good vibes guys! I am still encoding the youtube video since the first one I did was like 1.3 gigs which is too damn big for ppl to stream lol , but anyway thanks again for the comments , It felt like a struggle with the first set of plants and my over-watering.. but I will explain alot of my mishaps in the video.

sup chew seems to be going well for ur 1st run good luck....

Well I have grown indoor 2 other times but never was able to finish the run , had to pull that pant due to stupid reasons.
But I have grown outdoors once last year in the Emerald Triangle.

Here is the video update!

Here's a picture & video update of the ladies! (Video link at the bottom of the page.)

I Foliar fed them veganic special sauce and also added some of it to my regular feed.I foliared them , then 1 hour later I watered them cause they were needing it as well. The co2 helps out soo much it's ridiculous ... the growth I get with it compared to when I don't have it , like the days that I am lazy to get it filled lol.

I just got the Phat carbon filter as well but I am waiting for help to get it hooked up atm.

So far everything is going smooth this run and I am really happy with my results so far at the first attempt on a scrog! But reading and researching helped me soo much! Although it still seems when I look back at it I may have still rushed things but the way I see things is if you are learning from mistakes the 1st time they happen and understand why they did your success will speak for itself!

Like I said before this isn't my first grow indoor but it IS my first grow from start to finish .. The other 2 times I tried I had to stop before flowering and the last time (3rd time) I had to leave for work for 4 months so I only had to take care of them during veg state..So yeah first time for me entering flowering stage! I am super excited and everyday is enjoyable to watch them grow and learn more.

All these pics are day 10 flowering or Week 1 Day 3

Had a question.. How much more do you think it will grow in height? I was thinking maybe I should have let it veg for another week or two .. :( What do you guys think??

Well 2 weeks later and here we are! Gave it a nice foliar of HUmboldt honey + sticky + big up , then added floranectar and floralicious plus to my feeding and the sugar packed on heavy!

Would be nice if someone would answer my last question on my previous post..

Switched my veg over to dwc bucket setup and want to run the rest of my runs using dwc. Here are some pics of that setup , I am using a 432W Sunblaze T5 light but I unscrewed 2 of the bulbs due to heat.

Got this Rootspa bucket for a decent price $30 at the local hydro shop , but I switched out the air pump to a dual 7.8l Acitve Aqua air pump using 2 large air stones the size of soda cans basically.
