2 1/2 x 8.....1, 4 Bucket Super Simple Ebb & Flow System

M

MojaveGreen

Just starting out and getting some help from a friend. Building the closet now. Taking the week to set up and will be getting some cuts next week, the strains are kind of up in the air right now. Probably going with GDP and possibly Skywalker.

Anyway here are some development photos.

Thank you Bonzo, for your Friendship, and your knowledge.

Thank you Bonzo, for your Friendship, and your knowledge.

So as the man said were hanging 2 Lumatecs with dialed outputs. Going with 400 for veg time when we get there.

Here is a 2 bucket diagram of the Super Simple Ebb&Flow System.

This hole is the most important part.

The Water Test.

We have a Seal. We're good to go.

Built by Bonzo.

Framing, We're going to add a another top bar and bottom bar to create a 3 inch door frame. off beyond the newly framed wall is where we are going to have our cloning station ran by that T5 you saw earlier. We're cutting a 4 inch hole in the floor for a cool air intake under the framing the cloner will sit on top of.

Building is ceased for now due to company for discretionary reasons. I'll continue my build tonight after they leave and post more pictures for you guys tomorrow.

I was able to finish the facial framing last night and then crashed hard.

} These two i both forgot to rotate

need to measure and cut 2 or maybe 3 doors. i haven't decided if out of those 77 1/2 ' from outside stud to outside stud if i want to cut three equal length pieces, hang one of those on the right side of the frame. Hinge the other two together and hang them on the left to create a space saver door (essentially so i don't have to push my bed back any further). Weather stripping along all seals. Bonz and I are aiming for smell proof. but we really wont know til we get to flowering!! Got a late start today but now it's time to get back to work and have this ready in the next three or four days!!!

Any advice on the door would be greatly appreciated. First time doing anything like this so i imagine i'm bound to make some mistakes and waste material!

Thanks for taking time out of your day to read my thread. I appreciate you guys.:tiphat:

I guess i should have named this thread "Build and Grow 2 1/2 x 8 x 8 2-4 Bucket Super Simple Ebb & Flow System "

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention this. THIS IS A MOBILE HOME IN A MOBILE HOME PARK. I haven't noticed a whole lot of mobile home stuff looking through this site so i just thought i'd mention that this build and grow is going to be smell proof and low key as all hell, and in a Mobile Home. :ying:  :artist:

Well as far as what's standing goes I've now sealed every little hairline crack i could find in that closet. I'll let that set, make sure it doesn't shrink too much. If it does, I'll go over it again. Then off to paint. Still haven't found a suitable material to make a door out of. i don't think the old closet doors will work. it's just framed dry wall pretty much. Keeping my eye out ply wood and chip board. I don't want to wait til the last minute but if i have to I'll buy the damn thing. Waiting on Bonzo to bring the saw so we can cut a hole for the Cool-Air Intake. Straight through the floor. All across the underside of my trailer is weather sealed so well cut the appropriate sized hole to fit a piece of 4 inch sewer pipe from the weather seal to the floor glue and seal a ducting flange to the pipe and the weather seal. the bottom flange will include an air filter. the top side will be glued and seal, floor and pipe and have some kind of grate over top. mount the fan and BOOM! cool air during the summer!!! JYEAH!!:woohoo:We'll have a table over top of the fan and cloner will sit right on the table.

Okay, thank you for taking the time to read all that. :thank you:

Back to work for me!!

Thanks man, i'm looking forward to getting some little plants in there:biggrin:

Honestly i would not be the guy to answer your question, i dont want to steer you in the wrong direction. Bonzo would be the man to explain how the thing works and how to scale it down for smaller pots. All i know is that we're using 3/4 inch pvc and fittings and 5 gallon buckets. It's T'd off for an Intake from the reservoir, T'd off for an overflow that runs back into your reservoir and controls the water lever in your buckets, and then T'd off appropriately according to how many buckets you want on one system.

It's been awhile.

It's been awhile.

I'll admit, progress is slow. Progress is progress however. We're like right there man. I'm so excited for some DeathStar. Anyway here are more construction and equipment pictures. Chops will be potted soon. And then we'll be rollin.

Dryer duct and a sterilite lid

2 hours of drilling and building for this.

And it works like a charm. Temperature runs to come!!!

New doors, made from the old closet doors.

A Semi complete duct, Just a test for now.

No light leaks. Tight all the way around the frame. i'm pretty proud of myself and bonz for this little build. it's turning out way more legit than i expected it.:woohoo::thank you:
