I don't know what EM Mest Best is exactly - but I would mix the rock dust with (vermi)compost and topdress - something like 1cup compost and 1TBSP rock dust for each gallon of soil - clover will grow back through it - some will be collateral damage for the greater good.

EM Mest Best is mealworm castings, seaweed extract, volcanic rock dust, ricinus meal, trace minerals, effective microorganisms. It has the official EM logo on the bag. They recommend 0.4l per m^2.

Cool - I'd go by the recommended amount on that one.

I just scored about 8 gallons of granite dust at a local monument yard for zip. They said any time I wanted some to come by. Pretty cool for sure. This stuff is super fine too, from their dust collector when their engraving. Definitely beats the $44 I paid for not even a quarter of that amount of glacial rock dust a while back.

Your local monument company most likely will hook anyone up for free seeing how they pay to throw the stuff away.

Really fuckin psyched!!

Any one know what's up with the plant on the ic#4 cover? is that a deficiency or what lol. Also says "living organic soil" which i am guessing refers to the methods in this thread, though the written acronym is different, LOS rather than ROLS. so who knows. is the article coverage/editing rather decent? Just curious

Wow Gas! I thought only results like those were achieved with chemical ferts. I better put my bloomblastic on hold and stick with these methods.

I gotta say im a bit disappointed in the looks of Bus blend bidynamic compost, comparing it to vital earths compost...

I will post up a pic in a bit, but its night and day difference between the two.
Bus blend being dry, having lots of wood and rock/perlite
vital being dark rich moist and generally looking alive.

If physical appearance is a good gauge I think I will be using vital over bus blend.

I've used lots of bus blend and its always consistently dark rich and appropriately moist so idk.....

....juicing fresh cannabis leaves for yourself or your plants? I dry all my leaves/stems and use like alfalfa or comfrey for botanical teas or mix with EWC for mulch, and of course run through compost and worms....

...I hear its highly nutritious juiced for your own consumption....

food is your medicine and medicine is your food and raw whole food {along w/ juicing} is the best manifestation of that

:woohoo:
AMEN!
I think I may have to move in if I keep hearing talk like this.

Living Soil, Living Food.

RAW LIVING CANNABIS AS MEDICINE... and this soil mix makes it possible for anyone.
