Search Thread Title Only Function Not Found

Hello everyone

first of all, thanks for the site

you know there used to be a function where one could do a search in the advanced search that would let you search key words in thread titles only; when you hit the menu where the option was, it does not appear anymore and only 'search entire post' is available.

is it just me or the whole site? maybe I need to upgrade the browser or something?

Hey brudda. Check out the top of the screen. They gave us a separate search just for titles.

Can no longer search "By Topic" in Advanced Search???

Can no longer search "By Topic" in Advanced Search???

My sincere apologies to forum mods ... while searching "By Topic" has been removed from the Advanced Search (but why I'm still not sure), but I didn't realise it had been made available elsewhere (it was a very subtle site update!)

there is a box for thread title search near the top. what function does the old advanced search title serve that the new box "thread title search" doesn't?

i've tried posting some "political" type topics as new threads and they were not posted. i suspected ic mag. didn't want some topics discussed here and stuck to safer topics. it would be interesting to see a "don't discuss here at ic mag" list.
