Okay, the last 5-6 that we sent in (different addys) got returned that way asking for proof of residence. Please do not assume that I was guessing.
I should've stated that I'm not a DG, though, and that I was referring to personal production
I had to send in my house insurance info to prove that I lived on my very rural property the first time I registered..now I send it by default.
I renewed my paper work in the second week February, and got a expiration date of March, 25, 2014. I was trying to avoid anything and my paper work not in before march, 31st, 2013. I figured if they were to grandfather on the regulations, better to get in before march, 31st. I was under the impression that they would be giving out 5 gram a day scripts max, and I didn’t want any parts of that. Hope there is longer renewal dates.

thought I would add you dont have to send a hydro bill or insurance forms to HC,...
also my friends licence says it expires apr 5 2014,.......

Just to clear up why I had to send in insurance forms..
I live ruran on one of those Lot, Township type addresses....Some confusion on HC part regarding not being able to get mail delivered (even with a seperate mailing addy).
It cost me 2 months delay on my forms...so I now send it in by default....

This is good to know, thank you. I'm about to send my application in, and I have the same type of address situation.
is it really a delay? every lic is for 12 months unless requested shorter by your doc.
i understand what you mean, but your lic came for 12 months, not 10 right?

yes 12 months in total....but it meant 18 weeks to process my paperwork in total with it having to go back...

lol....that was my first application, renewals go smooth

Still waiting on my renewal, 10 weeks and counting. Applicant called hc 2 weeks ago, they said it would be ready in 2 weeks, which is now. Called again few days ago, said it would be 2 weeks. Un fucking real, so 3 months for a simple renewal. Also have been waiting about 11 weeks for a simple address change. Anyone else have similar issues?
Ya been almost 12 since we sent our renewal in. Same thing, called a while ago and they said it would be here in 2 weeks. Called again(Almost 20 days later) and they told me it will go out any day. Buncha freakin bs'ers. If they couldn't do it in the estimated time the first time, not sure why we should believe them the second time. Peace GS

You call them and they try assure you it will be alright. They claim the police are supposed to call them before they act. HC says they will let the cops know you are alright.
Just to be clear here again. My renewal is going over 12 weeks waiting now. That's a renewal, not a new PPL. They told me the renewals are taking 8 -10 weeks, but could not explain mine. Peace GS

Well if they are as efficient at letting the cops know we are "all right" as they are at processing simple forms....We be screwed...
Apparently the cops have a number they are supposed to call first to make sure. Its not like an ongoing list the cops get. Peace GS
