Ive got a quick question for all you scrog experts...im 5 weeks into flowering and everything is going great, but my canopy is becoming incredibly dense with fan leaves. I was curious if its ok to trim a few fan leaves to allow for better airflow through the canopy or am i better off just letting them go?

thanks in advance

i would suggest keep tucking them down under screen also you should post a few pictures of your plants you will get more answers

they are 5 weeks into flowering so tucking them under the screen really isnt an option as most tops are 6-8 inches above the screen

I would say it's ok to chop a few of them if there blocking the buds, but don't get to drastic. Only having 250watts you want all the light you can get hitting your buds.
You're going to get mixed answers on this one, it's often debated. I think the rite way to do it is a little at a time, so you don't shock the plants. Starting like two weeks in then again at four and so on.

its been quite some time since I took some leaves off last time (second week of flowering).

is it better off to pull the ones down towards the screen more to allow airflow up through the canopy?

Do some tucking and trimming. Take note on how your strain reacts, then you'll be able to adjust next time.
Hands on and trial and error is how you're going to learn the most. The more runs you do the better you'll get with the do's and don'ts in your environment and strains.

Happy growing:tiphat: Let's get some pics up

first time scrog is definitely a learning experience but a fun one. im a little hesitant about the pictures due to the meta data or whatever. any recommendations for a photo editor that scrubs that?
