hello ICmag, im new to the forums but a veteran grower of 5 years. guess thats doesnt make me a "veteran" but more an experienced grower. been using the washington state medical system to grow for my girlfriend (epileptic), father (broken old man), and myself (liver condition).
setup: 2 rooms both 10x12 areas adjacent to eachother.
4200 watts in flower all lumatek ballast, hortilux bulbs
open atmoshphere
1200 watt veg room.

nutrients- i run side by side comparisons ( i hate doing things one way, it has to be complicated or its no fun!)
1.) mix of earthjuice powders (grow, transition, bloom) and Botanicare ( vitamino, huvega, humega, silica blast, aquashield)
2.) lucas system ( GH 2 part + roots excel)
3.) Aptus (base boost, fasilitor, startboost)

i have recycled soil in the past but always ended up with fungus gnats and mushroom that start growing out of every hole in my pots so i stopped. I would consider it again if i could setup an actual compost shed at my house but im renting this spot and building structures outside of the home isnt allowed.
im from bellingham nice to see another washington native around!

spent too much time on grasscity and rollitup before i realized i was in the wrong forums. ICmag has the pro's and seems to be more of a growing community with much less of an " i'm a better grower then you" mentality. im happy to be here!
