I was thinking of this thread today when the snow started to fall again. The first person I hear bitch about the heat this summer is getting a kick to the teeth!

Unfortunately I have to work tomorrow in the mess created by this new snow. I also figure I'll have to bring the ice auger with on opening fishing at this rate.

15 inches here last night. Last year I was playing golf in shorts and a t-shirt at this time.

just a few sticky inches here, maybe 4" tops, glad for it but we're not getting temps high enough to melt ice yet. evenings in the teens still & some daytime temps barely scratching 37F, overcast & windy only the ice is enjoying this weather.


I think the Twins had to call a game due to snow, they've postponed @ least 3 games total so far, glad the Yankees are gonna be there in July.

last week on a sunny day @ 31℉ I put about 2.5 hours driving time in before I'd noticed that I hadn't turned on the heat in my car. of course being as it was a nice mild day I had on a t-shirt w/a zippered hoodie.

how does that work in California, do you use the heat when it hits 50℉?

coming out a winter where you acclimate yourself by living in -35℉ weather 31 & sunny is nice, nice enough to forget the heat


I'm just tired of the snow & want to see water for fishing opener.

just in case anyone thinks I tend to exaggerate, this is what we're getting now and that's a plowed section of my driveway.

you can't really see the rate of snowfall by the pics, this shit is really coming down. The Alice & Scooby pic is from another night but typical of Scooby snuggling into Alice's warm fur.
