I found a few seeds in my harvest.

just harvest 5 Super SIlver HAze Girls and noticed a few seeds. Maybe 6-10 per plant. There's no males anywhere around. Anyone know what may be going on? Cheers!

hidden bannas somewhere in ur room? i tend to find um in the larf or scraggle area if they're there ,but be vigilant when trimming there prolly dried up by now.
Thatd be my guess, dont see how else itd happen.

aslong as if didnt fuck up ur harvest then its not much to worry over IMO.

Yes you had nanners somewhere. Its very important to check you ladys all the time for this. It could have been much worse. I have seen whole flower rooms seeded out because of naners...Sometimes you cant find the naners these usually dont spread much pollen to other plants there deep inside the bud so a few seeds will form inside the bud.

All of the lower larf is removed from plants as this is where they form the most. It can be a crap shoot. I have 1 strain now that is known for it so far she has not tossed any that I can find...

Just had a GDP x Black Domina girl nanner a bit . I gotta admit I slacked and didnt pay as much attention for any nanners as I should have. It just hasnt been a problem for me for several grows. Anyhow. I found several seeds throughout the grow that I was able to tweeze out of the buds and removed a couple offending lower branches and lower larf off the offender where the few nanners I could find were hiding.

So about 30-50 free feminized seeds? I don't mind getting a few well formed seeds once in a while. When I get several hundred tiny unformed ones that pisses me off.

thtas if you know what plant hermied. Most of the time I cant find any naners so who to point the finger at is not possible. I have a bag full of naner seeds labeled Unknown...These will never get grown..If I find a great outdoor spot that doesnt require any attention on my part I will dump it there for everyone to enjoy

Those are feminized seeds. I once grew a PPP in soil way past harvest rock hard buds and found 30+ seeds in the lower larf, next grow grew 12 or 15 plants from those seeds and when it came for preflower inspection they were all females and they all grew into potent buds and I just continue to try and get seeds this way. This is the soma way sort of, that's why when you find one or more seeds in some real good weed there mostly feminized. I guarantee if you grow out those seeds you won't be disappointed.

According to a 1947 government farming book, the practice of selfing hemp was encouraged to assure high female seed ratios. Something like 97% as I rtemember Needed that seed oil for the war machine, don't you know.

My buddy over the hill recently showed me the entry, and has followed this practice for decades growing two classic So. American strains deep in the county. Gets an occasional true male so I get to play closet pollen chucker. Said I could borrow and scan the pages to post up for you all.

If the seeds are well matured you got treasure there.

I had seeds several times in my harves. Usually plants turn hermies because of stress.
Sometimes it's light. Sometimes its spider mites and sometimes it could be both.
However, stress is the key.
