haha..

I wanted an ash catcher and seemly no local stores carried anything like that, but they could "blow one custom for me". I said awesome and get a call a week later to pickup my new ashcatcher.

Maybe I didnt explain what I was after, but they had blown me a ashcatcher built into a bowl slide. I could clear the bong by pulling it out, but it had no carb or anything to clear the ash catcher part itself...... so now it sits. Need to get a diamond bit and try to drill a carb into it.. at least then it might be somewhat usable.

...came across a pretty amazing deal on one of these badboys. I'm not a huge bong smoker, until I hit this mother fucker. Smoothest hitting bong ever. Top part slides out and you can put it in the freezer. It's filled with glycerin or something and cannot freeze.

I don't always smoke bongs, but when I do I say "fuck ice". Or a, we don't ever have fucking ice cube trays so $800 bong will have to da the trick. lol

Just don't pick it up by the top like a normal bong.

Disclaimer - I didn't spend anything close to $800 on it, but apparently that is what they sell for online.
PS - that amazing cow utter is now engraved into my mind.. thanks.

Pyrology Glass though, they make some insane nice shit. Go to their website and look at Zii x Pyrology Stew#1.

I'm not real big on bongs either... I prefer to smoke joints. It's clean. The thing about joints is I smoke 3-4oz a month when I smoke joints, and only 1-2oz if I smoke from the bong...

The nice thing about your lungs is that they regenerate completely after 7 years I think? So as long as you quit smoking at an early enough age there shouldn't be much permanent damage. Much.

Medibles are the way... But I love a good joint...

You mean like this? Now I need a rolling machine that works with these!

How is the blumat mod working? If I understand correctly, you guys are trying to turn them into maxis, without tossing the patio kits?
I ask because one of my clone clients has 100 if the maxis that she is not comfortable taking the plunge. I can pick them up if you guys think they are worth it...

I haven't tried mine yet. Greenmatter says he's 4 for 4 with working modifed blumats.

Just like that, but I use the reggalar size, not the king-size. Remember, I don't have any hangy-outy smokey friends. :snap out of it:

That's your own damn fault. I'm more than willing to help you smoke you meds.

The girl I am seeing now is a manager of 3 head shops in my area, I am going to see what she can do! I love ice bong hits...

Looking good bobble. For real you guys need to quit being pussies and come on. I would bring my bong every where i go with me, but i dont wanna lose it to the pesky porkers. Bong rips are about the healthiest way to smoke. Unless your doing vape bong rips of oil( that's usually how i start my day). Seen the raws, never tried em'. Arminius and silver are like ol' dirty bastard " ooh baby i like it raw, ooh baby i like it raw" Anyway's here's my little toy's i use, nothing extravagant, just fresh smoke every hit. I have multi-arm percs and a roor, but i like these two the best. The hit the easiest.

Everything is back on an even keel over here... humming and ticking and hoonin'... I didn't do much this trip except pick up my meds that need trimming, pull some fan leaves, and replace a light timer that had gone bad. Its a new timer so it was probably defective from the start. I am a little short on water still. My RO unit is putting out just enough water to keep up with everything I have going on. I only have just enough, and if my RO unit were to quit for any reason I'm fucked. I'm looking at buying another to double up and get my tanks filled again. It would be tragic to run out of water at this point. I plugged my 200pt drizair in and I'm sending the drainage to my veg res. Now that its warming up outside the humidity has jumped enough that my cool-air intakes are covered in condensation.

@7 weeks- This table is showing big improvements with the new feed manifold.

@3 weeks- I don't want to jinx myself, but I'm hitting a home-run on this one! I pulled some large fans off the top of the canopy as well as doing a little bit of bending here and there.

Octagon @ 1 week- the plants have oriented themselves and I'm gonna have to crawl in there next week with some trellis if they stay healthy like that last table of Headband.

If something goes wrong... They could end up looking like these Straw DD @ 4 weeks.

The pic came out blurry for the other room.

Yeah buddy! Whoda thunk, you're rockin' those tables harder than the octagon!

:respect:

IMO, the octagon can go rock itself straight to heck. :moon:

lol... :peacock: Thanks Silver. It's hard to argue with the results. It didn't take me long at all to get that dialed in. When time is a factor... Single level grows are the best route imo.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the octagon this time though... So don't start talking too much shit. All the same I don't intend to run the octagon in that configuration anymore. Its an unnecessary risk to take when the state licenses me to have x amount of plants, and I'm much less likely to have any legal troubles if I stay in those limits. Same deal with the tables, no more high plants count SOGs there either. Large plants... lbers.

Hey when you come buy, bring your fiskars... ha ha...

180gpd RO unit with booster inbound... $300 more dollars out the window... $90 in fertilizer 2 days ago. Utilities... blah... The bigger you get, the bigger your bills get and the faster they come. Remember that.

Bobs man I am telling you the tables are doing every bit as good as the verts with WAAAAAAAAAAAY less work/hassle.

I agree 100%... My apologies to the horizontal growers... :tiphat:

Vert is cheaper as far as equipment is concerned... but for someone in my position, running a remote grow visiting 1x a week with minimal time to dick around... Its worth the added investment for the convenience of using reflectors.

I know BST just uses ORCA, but I've gotta have something a little more melt-proof. I'm accident prone.

Thanks for weighing in BST!

No shame in that game. Shit is looking killer bobble. Your octagon always looks like you could fill it in a whole lot more though. When not veg them a bit more?

I'm addicted to all of it. Yes, very addicted. I want to grow all the possible ways. I build rooms in my dreams.

Vert has given me better yields vs. daystar ac's over plants, but I'm dangerously allured to 600w in adjust a wings over tables. Dense sog on tables...Doesn't get simpler really. Plug and go. Fast turnover.

No medium fellas.. I've been itching to run these but I've been holding off dedicating so many numbers to only 1200w.

Not even sure you can still get these, but they are an easy DIY with foam board and 2" net pots. These are 3x3 with 36 holes for you to plug your clone into. I ran 30min every 90min and grew a fuzzy mat of roots, but I'm sure you could further tweak with recycling timer. Pump/Timer must be high quality. They fail - you lose.

- still stickered.. lol. I ran out and found a few after selling my old ones to a friend and then regretting it. I'm glad I did. Practically unavailable, but I managed to find a shop that had a few. I only ran them once, and it wasnt ideal because I used clones from a flowering plant and had some weird re-veg. The system/method however worked perfectly. I literally would poke my head in the grow tent no more then once a week.. top off and addback nutes. Shit was easy.

I gotta play with my PPK trees for a while, but these things are coming out of hiding soon and put in place somewhere. Makes for a very simple reload/waste disposal. It's practically non existent.

Check out this wild and crazy guy over here.....

ok i know im not the first guy to do a shallow water recirculating system but i am goin to show you a real neat way to do it....

i start with a 3x3 tray. now it has a lip around the edge so i took a measurement and the inside demensions came to 38inches exactly...

go to this website to order the HDPE sheets (1/4 inch is sturdy enough to stand on once its on the table, might want to use 3/8 on a larger table) cut to your specs....
http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=529&PHPSESSID=20120314085538470807491

i then lay out 36 evenly spaced 3 inch holes for net-pots and cut them out with a dremel circle cutting attachment. (hole saw would work too but i like a reason to buy a muti-use tool...)
picture.php

i have 3 drains all inch in size, 1 1/2 might work too but you wont be able to place them in the traditional drain locations...

pretty self explanatory by pic...

nice shit whodare doing there..

I experimented with fast flowing SWC tables in my earlier days. Ditching the hydroton was a no brainer if you had other means to support the plant. Provided the clones are "choked" high enough up into the net pot they'll anchor in very nicely.

Sorry for the thread jack bobbles.. but thats what ya get though for bring that reflector non-sense into Vertville. :nanana:

He's like the Anakin Skywalker of the grow world...heading to the dark side....

Haven't you guys seen Return of the Jedi? fuck... Anakin starts out good and pure, goes to the dark side in order to save Padme, and then at the end of Return of the Jedi Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker comes back to the good side of the force, takes the shock from Darth Sidious and saves Luke. At the end of the move Anakin is hanging out with Obi Wan and Yoda, confirming his return to the good side of the force.

exactly... There is no "better" method, its about whats right for your situation! Thanks for chiming in.

I did veg these plants a lot longer, so they have well established roots... as opposed to the smaller clones I normally throw in there.

Here's the problem... I never know how the plants are going to grow! You've seen the Headband triple in size when I grow it right. Straw DD will at least double in size when grown right. I'm not growing my plants right. I'm constantly messing up the stretch, which makes it impossible to fill the vertical canopy. Whether it be cold temps, pH being off, inadequate irrigation... W/e, its all my own fault for not having anticipated the problems. One of my tables has a lot of open space as well because I had issues during stretch. All of those canopies would have filled in if I could have grown the plants right.

I want to be clear that I'm not blaming vertical lighting for the holes in my canopy... lol... I have someone chasing me around with negative rep every time I hint at problems with blumats, vert SOG, or vert lighting... :)thank you: for reading hater) As if I'm not equally critical of my horizontal grows.

My new designs will have more thought put into them, from my experiences gained. If I was to do vert SOG again, I would do a recirculating system, instead of trying to deliver a certain amount of solution to each plant site. I'm not going to do anymore vert SOG systems though. I've made it clear that my intentions are to become compliant with my medical program. You FF, HL45 along with D9 and Dave and all the other ppkers have shown me how easy it can be to grow lbers.... And as long as I keep my plants within count and in a locked enclosed facility, I should be gtg... I don't sit on overrages for very long.

Anyway shit talkers... I'm still running more watts vert than I am horizontal. I was one of the first growers posting here in vertville, and I'm not about to fall off... Just taking a walk around to see what else is out there.

Dude I honestly don't care if your vert or horizontal....you'll always be my hero! When I think of the two guys that made some of the biggest impact on my yields and potentcy..it was you and DHF......btw the GH is going up Monday....I'll give you a call tomorrow.

BTW - Mi casa is always open for you if you hit the road!
